Run by the best team and staff and the owner is the nicest. It is a really cute historic building with comfortable and clean rooms and bathrooms, free coffee and tea and option to pay for breakfast. It is right next to this lively street with a lot of restaurants and a quick walk to the metro and buses. It has its own cute cafe area and terrace as well. Would 100% stay here again The only thing to improve was the shower head was too high for me

They prepared a little cozy bed for my two corgi girls, after a whole day road trip from France this was such a kind welcome thank you for that

Absolutely best personal I've met so far! They were so kind, helpful and lovely. I really enjoy that, it made my stay much nicer, thank you a lot! It had also an amazing breakfast, very good clean air codnitioning, nice garden, and there were things for the beach (umbrella, chair, towels, bags) for free to use. Also very good location, I can totally recommend it. It's true, that the private bathroom is outside the room. It's super close, and for me it was absolutely not a problem, but other guests should know that in order to avoid surprises.

I missed my plane, and had to leave the next day. Mercedes and Anna saved my room reservation. In fact, when I told them I had a lot of luggage, they gave me a room on the first floor. I cannot really think of anything I did not like!

The location is perfect! Near the beach, the Metro station and Rambla de Poblenou. The service provided by Mercedes was charming and very friendly.

It was very clean, my room was cleaned every day, I liked that there was free tea and coffee and cold water always available. The terrace was lovely to sit out on. Beach towels and baskets were available and a locker for your keys if you didn’t want to take them out with you.

The room and everything was lovely.

Walking distance from the beach, friendly owner and staff - especially Agnes who was so warm, smiley and lovely to connect with. Thank you for making my stay a safe and memorable one for a solo female traveller! I'll definitely be back when i return to Barcelona.

The hostel itself is quite stylish and well-designed. The location is excellent and very convenient for getting around. It is within walking distance to the beach, and there are great transport links nearby, making it easy to explore the city. 1. Misleading "Private Bathroom": The room was advertised with a "Private Bathroom," but the bathroom was actually located across a public corridor. More importantly, it had NO EXTERNAL LOCK, meaning any person in the building could enter at any time. This is a major misrepresentation of "private" facilities. 2. Poor Price-to-Quality Ratio: We paid a high premium for a Family Room with a secure private bathroom. Staying in a room where you have to cross a public hallway to an unlocked toilet is unacceptable for the price charged. It felt more like a basic hostel setup but at a luxury room price. 3. Staff Reluctance: When we first pointed out the issue, the staff refused to help or change our room, claiming they were full. We were forced to stay in these conditions for two nights before any action was taken. 4. Significant Room Downgrade: After complaining, we were moved to a much smaller room (1 bed instead of 2, no balcony) without any offer of a refund for the price difference. The host refused to compensate for the downgrade until Booking.com intervened to provide credits. Verdict: Do not be misled by the description. You are paying for a premium room but receiving subpar facilities and a host who does not take responsibility for their listing errors.

Homey feeling, surroundings, walking distance from workplace

Really loved how comfortable the room was, the bed was unreal. The decor felt really considered too, simple but stylish and made it feel a bit more premium than your usual stay. The location was spot on, perfect base to explore Poblenou and the rest of Barcelona. Staff were super friendly the whole time, and the free water refills were a really nice touch. Unfortunately there were roadworks right outside our balcony / window which started at 8am each morning, it made using the balcony at any moment to be unpleasant and the builders using pneumatic tools etc meant you could sleep in past 8am. Was a shame but did get us up and about!

Amazing property with a very accommodating owner who allowed me to change room for a small additional fee as my girlfriend came to stay with me last minute. I’d definitely stay here again when I return to Barcelona. Thank you for your hospitality. Rooms are not very sound proof so you may need earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.

I chose this hotel based on the photos and its location close to the sea. In the pictures, it looked very cozy and clean, which influenced my decision. Unfortunately, the reality was very different. The room was very dirty, and the overall cleanliness was poor. The tiled floor was extremely cold and uncomfortable. The room itself was dark and unwelcoming. The staff were polite and friendly. However, our room faced the street where construction works were taking place. The noise from the renovations was so loud that it was impossible to relax or rest in the room. On top of that, there was almost no soundproofing in the hotel — large gaps, old doors, and you could hear everything: footsteps, shouting, and conversations in the corridors. There was no privacy at all, which made the stay very unpleasant. The bathroom was also in poor condition: the shower cabin had mold, the shower gel dispenser was broken, and the soap holder and other dispensers were dirty. Overall, our stay was extremely disappointing — the conditions did not match the photos or expectations, and due to the constant noise and lack of soundproofing, it was impossible to rest properly.

What a lovely place! It’s charming, clean and very comfortable. It’s a little distant from central attractions but very easily reachable via public transport. The beach is close-by and the Poblenou rambla is also very lovely, with cafes and shops. The staff is extraordinary!
