Great location, historic architecture and excellent breakfast Discomfort due to many details - not enough light in the room, overly warm blankets, dried out swimming pool, etc., etc. Currently the hotel is not up to its potential. With better management it could be a luxury place.

Just the location The hotel or the room pictures they used are nothing like the reality! There was no lamps on the nightstands. The bathroom sink was almost falling apart. No coffee mugs. The towels, the linens were almost yellow after years of usage. And the stuff was unbelievably unhappy! No one makes smiles or makes eye contact. You can literally feel they do not want to talk to you or even be there.

Good location, nice breakfast and service. Lack of maintenance, no air conditioning in our room. Cigarette stains on the furniture, broken fixtures in the room. Needs serious investment and love

Despite all negative reviews, we decided to stay here for the location purposes, and we weren't disappointed. Beds were comfy, decent breakfast, awesome location (everything is steps away), 2 elevator options, luggage storage before checkin and karnivour resto downstairs offers delicious food. In broad strokes, yes, a bit outdated hotel and might be not deserving a 5 star right now, as many facilities (pool, fitness) are under construction, and the building itself needs a TLC, but we had good two days there because we enjoyed the sea and the weather was kind to us! Outdated and worn off room, some stuff really needs cosmetic reno..., really didn't like noisy neighbours, and that the staff just entered the room with 1 knock on the door without waiting for our response to change towels upon our request. Breakfast resto is Mediterranean, bunch of olives :) Under right management, this place can be a jewel - hope to see all renovated next time.

There was nothing to be liked about, staff was rude and unprofessional saying no to everything. Everything, nothing was upto the mark no iron,no comfort, no guidance waste of money. Specially the staff no ethics
