Mercure Belgrade Excelsior

Excellent service and really nice room with the most comfortable bed ever! Location is perfect, just steps away from all the major attractions in the city center. Breakfast is phenomenal with huge selection of food and some local delicacies, don't miss a chance to try it out. Amazing stay!

The room was quite outdated and could definitely use some renovation. The appliances looked old and yellowed with age, and the bathroom fixtures also seemed worn. Overall, the room did not feel very fresh or well-maintained.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this Mercure hotel and were so pleasantly surprised to be chosen as Guest of the Day. The unexpected upgrade was such a thoughtful gesture and instantly made our stay feel extra special. Beyond the upgrade, what really stood out was the kindness and professionalism of the staff. The two young ladies at the front desk we interacted with were warm, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. And though we unfortunately did not meet the Operations Manager, we really appreciated the thoughtful welcome card. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we had a beautiful view. We also really appreciated being able to leave our luggage with the hotel after check-out, which made our departure much more convenient. Thank you for turning our stay into a very memorable one. This level of hospitality doesn’t go unnoticed! We would definitely be happy to return and recommend this hotel to others. Everything was excellent overall; the only small improvements we could suggest would be adding power outlets closer to the bed for easier charging at night, and making plant-based milks more readily available at breakfast, which would be a lovely addition for guests who prefer them or have dietary restrictions.

The room is just right for solo traveler. Not too small, not too big. Also accommodate all the necessity. The staff are so friendly, helpful and considerate. No bidet

Size of the room and quality materials

The staff was extremely friendly and they're definitely a highlight of this property. They were kind and helpful in every interaction - from letting us grab a few more items from the breakfast buffet even after they had already started taking it away to arranging a taxi to the airport for us on our last day. The room was great. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked, plus the other little things that made all the difference (a mini fridge, a kettle and some mugs/spoons..). The location was also good. It's a short walking distance from the city center and a midpoint between different places in your usual sightseeing list. There were also plenty of essentials near the hotel (a supermarket, lots of coffee shops, etc.). The only thing to be mindful of is the elevator/lift situation. It only carries up to two people at a time (or only one person if/when you have your suitcase with you). I was a bit wary of it so ended up just taking the stairs every time (but we were on the 6th floor, so it wasn't the best).

The hotel is located about 15 min from the busiest streets,so the location is really good. The staff is nice and overall stay was really good The only major downside was the air conditioning-it’s is very old and incredibly loud,even when it’s turns off! So I suggest bringing ear plugs with you. We were offered to change the room but the problem is in every room. But overall very good hotel

The Staff at the reception was unexpectedly amazing. His communication skills were remarkable, explained everything that is only relevant in an orderly and a clear manner. The property was improved from my last stay, the air-conditioning in the room was better. Defiantly coming back and recommending it to others.

Location is a city center close to my business destination - so, it is quite convenient to stay. Room designed very attractively) Location - it was convenient for my purposes.

Excellent location near to main city attractions, nice & equipped rooms (this time small but cozy on 7th floor), restaurant and bar available inside, super-helpful and friendly staff. Reaching and then using of elevator may be problematic with big/heavy trolleys.

This is definitely not a four-star hotel. The breakfast is poor, there were no bathrobes in the room. The breakfast was for a three-star hotel – at most. I've worked in the hospitality industry and I travel a lot, so I know what a 4-star hotel should look like. If you try to connect to wifi, you find out that you can get a free wifi connection only if you become their loyalty program member. If you don't want to do it, you can get a free Internet access only for 24 hours and have to re-connect every day.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a small problem in my room the first night and when I told the receptionist, it was fixed right away. We had dinner at the hotel once and the waiter, Misha, was fantastic. (The food was good too!) The lift is tiny (it only takes 2 people) so it can be quite a wait at busy times.

I was upgraded to a larger room, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable.

We shall return and recommend it to others.

Great hotel! It is located in a nice, quiet place and even meetings at the government house do not interfere))))!!! The rooms are clean and well cleaned!Very beautiful views from the windows!!! There is a tea and coffee set in the room and if the coffee capsules are changed normally, the tea bags are not brought, there is only one green tea bag left, it will be one, and two people live in the room and not everyone drinks green tea!!!!! You probably need to buy tea yourself- then write that)))))!!!!
