The luxurious Square Nine Hotel is located in the center of Belgrade, 164 feet from the Kneza Mihailova pedestrian and shopping district and 328 feet from the Kalemegdan Fortress. Square Nine Spa and Wellness center, modernly furnished rooms, and free WiFi access are provided throughout the property. All accommodations units feature hardwood floors and paneling, comfortable Treca de Paris beds, Pratesi linen and antique and designer furniture pieces. Staff were excellent. They couldn’t do more for us. At the beginning, we had a problem with the room. But they changed our room immidiately. Room were cold to be honest, but they bring us heater so it was fine. Beds were a little bit small especially for Serbian people! :)

Square Nine is a beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff were all extremely attentive and helpful and just very nice people. Irene at the front desk speaks perfect English and told us everything we needed to know about getting around and what to see, made sure that the places we were going fo see would be open and is just a delightful person. The room was what you would expect. Little chocolates and slippers appear out of thin air. I can’t think of a thing.

Location great, hospitality is wonderfull, room are big, clean,with all needed facilities, great SPA, delicious breakfast, every person in the hotel staff is very kind and want to assist, when to mention especially Peter at the reception desk. Great value for money

EVERYTHING ! True 5-star hotel ! amazing arcature , ABSOLUTLY perfect location ! STAFF is best and polite , excellent service , full of beautiful people and celebrities' gorgeous lobby . Breakfast is one the best ever ( i have been to more than 100 counties ) Perfectly design logistically and convenience - spa , sauna, steam room , gym and pool . rooftop restaurant is a must. Quality and amenities in the room and thru out hotel ! too much to list. nothing

Amazing food, comfortable bed, very accommodating staff. They also have sauna, pool and gym - good break from a busy workweek we had in Belgrade Language barriers with a few of the staff. This is understandable, the problem is how they handled the situation. It was like they ignored or snubbed me and I was standing there not knowing what to do because I was sure they heard me. It took a while for me to realize that they either are not fluent or dont speak English. Note however that most of the staff can speak english. I only happened to have encounter with two who are not quite fluent on my first day - electrician and cleaner. Im sure they didnt mean to make me feel snubbed.

We recently stayed at this hotel, expecting a luxury experience given it’s listed as a member of Leading Hotels of the World and the steep price tag of €700 per night. We rented two rooms – one for ourselves and one for our granddaughter – expecting a high level of comfort and quality. Unfortunately, the experience was far from five-star. To our shock, we found a bug right in the bed, under the bed sheet – we felt it ourselves. One issue is that early November is not a season for the bugs and another one is that the bug was discovered being under the bed sheet. Question arise about sense of cleanness not suitable for the hotel of the LHW system. When we reported this issue to management, their response was highly disappointing: they offered only a 50% discount on one night’s stay. It felt as though they were indifferent to both guest satisfaction and basic cleanliness standards. Additionally, the hotel claims the tap water is drinkable, yet it came out muddy – a troubling sign for a supposedly luxury hotel. We were also surprised to find no free bottled water provided in the room for the day, despite the high price. We are 60 and have been travelling over the world for about 30 years, staying in 4 or 5 star hotels and also in LHW, Four Seasons and One and Only and can admit that problems during accomodation happens everywhere. The most important from our point of view is not an issue, but the way the hotel management settles it. And what we can not accept and exuse is unwillingness provide customer satisfaction and arrogant frases sort of " that's all we have for you" ))). In conclusion, this hotel does not deserve its five-star rating or its place in the Leading Hotels of the World. I would strongly recommend that travelers looking for a true luxury experience consider other options.
