Hotel Rezidenca Desaret

The hotel was beautiful with a perfect location. My room had a large balcony with stunning views facing the mountain. I arrived early, and the staff kindly allowed me to check in early since the room was ready. The breakfast was phenomenal!

Small room

Centrally located, big, clean rooms with amazing views from the balconies. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and varied. We really enjoyed our stay and cannot say enough good things about this property and the people who run it. Don’t miss this gem.

The room and the view were lovely. Our daughters were upstairs in a much smaller room but it was fine. It was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The parking was easy. The location was good. Not on the main road but very nearby. Great spot. Breakfast was good but brought to the table which isn't our favorite. They could only accommodate us one night!

Nice hotel, well located and modern facilities. The room was a bit simple and the breakfast didn’t offer much variety, but it was good.

Perfectly located in the old town, very spacious and beautiful rooms and a super friendly staff and owners.

We occupied arguably the hotel’s best room with an enormous balcony that provided sweeping views of the old city and mountains. The comfortable bed and pillows made for a restful sleep, and there was no waiting for hot water in the commodious shower. Generous closet space made it easy to stow luggage and hang clothes. A nice breakfast was served in the hotel’s restaurant each morning, and each cup of coffee was made to order. Berat’s cobblestone streets are just outside your door. An all around great hotel experience. Just a small point: For all of the generous wall space throughout the hotel, there was not one piece of art displayed.

Great location. Within a few minutes walk of center. Staff was overly accommodating. We were only guests staying for the night and they made sure we felt welcome. Great breakfast spread and got homemade ravioli well past their restaurant opening hours.

Difficult drive to the hotel with narrow roads - keep in mind before planning your trip.

Such a gorgeous little hotel in the perfect location! We had a twin room with a balcony that had a view over the newer town on one side and the old town on the other. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean and updated. The hotel was in the perfect location with just a short walk (uphill) to Berat castle and an even shorter walk downtown. It also had spacious free parking and a delicious breakfast included! The shower leaked a little when we used it and water in the room would have been a nice extra touch. However, these are both very small things and overall we were delighted by our stay!

Excellent location. Great breakfast Need a shelf in the shower to hold shampoo and shower gel. Need hooks in bathroom for towels. The hook was very high and I was unable to reach it.
