Heraklis Hotel

This a a gem of a guest house that checked all the boxes for a perfect stay:great location in Old Town in a super cool house, most wonderful host running the guest house who went above and beyond expectations to create a wonderful stay, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and hot shower, and great breakfast. Neighborhood is quiet and we felt safe. Air conditioning worked nicely on a hot day. Stay here if you can, we give it our highest recommendations! Nothing it was perfect

Great location in historical building. Close to the river and on the way up to the castle. Host was pleasant and helped us with our luggage. Good, basic breakfast with an assortment of local jams. Very affordable. No warm water in shower. Weak Wi-Fi connection on upper floor. Parking wasn't free as advertised.

The location is perfect: in the middle of Berat center, and close to the castle. The service was great: our hostess made sure we could park our car next to the hotel and made us very nice breakfast at the time we liked. The room was very clean with a good bed, just a bit small (but as advertised).

Nice traditional hotel in central Berat, close to all amenities and the river, also on the way up to the castle. Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast is a very small traditional Albanian breakfast. The parking is very limited in Berat but the owner kindly helped us to get a space near the front of the hotel despite being a last minute booking. Having to organise a breakfast slot while on holiday.

We enjoyed everything, however, parking was a little difficult due to location, and also the stairs were a little bit uncomfortable for children. Great views, the host was pleasant and attentive, the facilities were good. Walking distance to many places and attractions. Parking and stairs.

1. The room was clean. The towels and sheets were fresh. 2. Hot water in the shower. Everything works good. 3. We were checked in very fast. 4. Apple with cinnamon and honey on the breakfast were gorgeous. 1. We were met by unfriendly woman who was interested most in when we can pay. 2. The breakfast was cold in a room with uncomfortable temperature. We took it as fast as possible just not to be hungry. 3. «free parking» wasn’t free. The parking near the hotel was busy probably not with the guest’s cars and it’s only for 2-3 cars. We had to park near for the price of 200 lek. 4. There are nails in the stair. Be careful if you are with the baby. 5. The aircond flows directly to the bed. Not comfortable to sleep.

We had a great stay, fantastic location, beautiful room, parking possible, and breakfast.

Very helpful owner, who gave us a lift to the bus station on the last day. The hotel is very centrally situated for the town and the castle. Good value for money. All good.

The room was large and cozy. It felt like being in a characteristic Berat house. Check-in process could have been smoother and parking was not easy to find.

Very nice and delicious breakfast. The host is helpful in giving us information. The hotel is very beautiful and unique. It is near both the castle and UNESCO Gorica area. You can reach there by bus from the bus terminal and stop at Conad Market. None

Beautiful apartment in a historical building, right in the middle of the Berat, beneath the castle. The room was clean and comfy and the breakfasts delicious. The owner personally waited for us until very late at night because our flight was delayed by many hours, even though he had his own flight to catch the following day, I really appreciate this. Great place to stay in Berat. Nothing.

Beautiful location in the old town, down the beautiful castle (advice: park down the hill, by the hostel, not up!) The staff is a couple who kindly stayed late for us and prepared breakfast with fresh fruits. Rooms are really clean and comfy, mixing both modern and traditional style. Nothing, really. It was up to expectations.

Very well situated. Very well taken care of, very clean. The stff were exceptionally helpful. Everything was great.
