It was a unique stay inna historical place, the staff was exceptional and very friendly and honest. The breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend and was one of the best places we stayed in Albania.

The room I stayed in was spacious, clean and had air conditioning. The location is very central. The look of the hotel and the room could be described as traditional but you can tell that they take good care of it. The staff was very professional and helpful.

Beautiful, charming hotel in an old ottoman house. Staff could not be more helpful. Walk everywhere and relax in rooms that are full of character and charm. Great breakfast too.

The breakfast staff was excellent. The buffet was fine. The made to order eggs were good. The location was great. Paid parking, we stayed upstairs and it was odd to see the rafters. I would market the hotel as an authentic residence. We did the ethnography museum earlier in the day and this looked very similar. Was just not what we expected. The bathroom was tiny.

Hotel Mangalemi in Berat offered a truly charming experience that beautifully complemented the city itself. Arriving in the low season, I enjoyed an almost private retreat, with the hotel's atmosphere perfectly mirroring the city's unique character. The team was exceptionally helpful, especially Mr. Gori, whose genuine hospitality and insightful advice on local sights and transport enriched my stay. The breakfast was both excellent and generous, and the coffee was particularly lovely, adding to the overall warmth of the experience. On the downside, while the interaction with most staff was positive, one team member came across as a bit pretentious and defensive, though this was a minor issue for me. Additionally, despite the hotel being empty, I received a comment about the late check-out time, which seemed unnecessary under the circumstances. But I must admire their flexibility. Overall, these small issues did not overshadow the overall enjoyment of my stay, and I m included them as a genuine care to ensure this place runs on its full potential. I would gladly return and recommend it to friends.

Lovely, historic rooms and common areas in the most convenient location in town, with good restaurants and beautiful, safe walks right there. A gorgeous, modern breakfast room upstairs with fabulous views of this beautiful historic city. Good 5 Euro secure parking, flawless staff, very good breakfast, perfectly equipped rooms with travelers’ needs in mind and excellent price/value. Management and staff are hitting a “bullseye”! Absolutely everything!!! The property is so quaint and beautiful! The room is decorated beautifully as is the hotel. There is a fabulous little courtyard where we sat and enjoyed some wine and afternoon sun. The staff here though make it 10/10 stars!!! The street down to the hotel is a bit tight and steep. Limited parking cause you are right in the center of the action. But they have a parking right out front of the hotel to unload bags. And they even parked the car for you! We just handed over they keys and when we went to check out, the ran and got it and had it out front waiting for us again! Best customer service ever! Loved this place. I would 10000000% recommend!
