Palazzo Rivola

There were a lot of codes to remember (they were long); I needed a different code for the outside door and then 2 of the same codes for inside. I just couldn't remember them as there were @7 numbers so getting the phone out each time was a bit annoying.

Beautiful spacious room. Super comfortable mattresses! Excellent location. Really hard to beat this place on any and all counts!

There was AC but it didn’t seem to cool the room very much - we were in extreme heat wave tho.

Big spacious appartment with great views, well-equiped kitchen, nice bathrooms, preserved spots from the old architecture. The staff were very helpful and allowed us to keep the luggage in the palazzo for as long as we needed before the flight. It is not exactly not liking, it is that we needed a little bit more information about the way self-checkin works. Not everybody is accustomed to this type of service. It will save the guests a lot of stress if they are well informed in advance.

The location was excellent—close to main piazza and shops in Città Alta. Breakfast was very good; there were enough offerings and the staff were very helpful—even offered me a second capuccino! The shower was great—big shower head—and there was espresso and water available at all times. The garden was a perfect place to chill and smell the orange blossoms. Daniele was a superior concierge! We liked everything!

Great location, in the heart of city center. Room was clean and bright with beautiful view through the window. Plenty of great restaurant and shops around the apartment. Very easy self check-in/check-out. Clear instructions and helpful staff. Flexible check-in and responsive contact person. Complimentary beverages and storage room for baggage (even before the check-in) is a big plus.

The place is nice and neat. Room was just like in the pictures. This hotel does not have a reception, just a self check in (very convenient and easy) and communication through whatsapp. Communication through WhatsApp was all good, they were responsive and helpful. The hotel is lovely, well kept, courtyard is absolutely exceptional and we spent quite a time relaxing there. Location is absolutely perfect, close to main street, but not on it, so very few, I would even say no passers-by. While the room was very pleasant, the mattress in our room was rather quite awful. It was extremely soft and worn out. Even as a young person I ended up waking up several times a night. The breakfast was kind of ok, the selection was limited, no vegetables at all, very few fruit. I am not entirely sure that I would consider it a value for the money. But the staff we met during breakfast was very nice and delightful.

Amazing property and customer service was a 10/10 outstanding! Would highly recommend to friends and family! Nothing it was amazing.

Easy to get to on foot. Staff is super friendly and breakfast had plenty of choices.

It was a bit challenging to find the parking but the staff was very responsive to help us.

Breakfast was excellent (varied); manager was very personable and accommodating. Made several great restaurant suggestions. Also great location in the middle of the Citta alta; convenient to all the major cultural sites!

Location was excellent. Although there was some building work going on in the location that took us off course from Google directions though also meant we were lucky enough to go down little streets we would not have found I'm 71 and the steps in the apartment up to our 3rd floor were not ideal though it was explained there was no lift

Awesome historic structure in superb location. Excellent staff, including Georgia and Daniel. Parking on property was huge for time saving. Solid breakfast got our day started well. Did wish we had another night or 2.

It is a beautiful space, very well located in Citta Alta. The convenient location makes it easy to get around. The garden was beautiful, loved being able to take a break in the there. The breakfast was very good, with a good variety and very friendly staff.

Great house to stay with a special history. Just in the center of the old town of Bergamo. Breakfast great..we felt at home. Very Very helpful everybody !!!.. we loved it

Drainage smell in the bathroom, shower only from above, the stupid American shower style - why that in Bergamo? The location, the breakfast and the stuff all very good.
