The ambiance was lovely and the décor gracious. The breakfast plentiful, delicious. The staff attentive. Laetitia was a delight. So accomodating. The location couldn’t have been better. The Musée des Beaux Arts was a block away. Everything close by. We liked everything about it.

Breakfast was fair. It was difficult to communicate eith the staff.

room was a bit small. Ok, but a bit small

Nice quaint old building, nice breakfast area, the room we had was spacious with a great balcony and window and there was good storage. Short walk to old town Bordeaux. Liked that they had wine glasses in the room. Near a noisy Main Street and noisy pub, odd smell in the breakfast area, a bit frustrating to get toilet paper - our room started with a half a roll and we had to ask for more twice. The coffee we got at breakfast was luke warm and the coffee maker in the room was disgusting and grody with dust. The cleaning schedule was unclear and we never got new towels over 5 days.

Charming, location, good breakfast. No elevator, we had lots of luggage, thankfully we got the first floor room?. Air conditioning didn’t work.

Cozy and charming. On the bus line and very near the tram lines. An excellent variety of restaurants and shopping toward the river. The front desk person was fabulous and gave us exactly the best things to see and do. The breakfast was very nice and the service was very good! We enjoyed the property very much and had an excellent stay. People with limited mobility may not appreciate the tight winding stairs. They do have a room on the first floor that you would want to request if that’s an issue. After 10 o’clock it was perfectly quiet in the room. There is some street noise in the afternoon with the windows open.

The staircase was treacherous. Should be listed on site. The breakfast was included but needed attention. Parking is too far away to roll a big suitcase. The staircase was the issue.

Just at the beginning of the center, so you can walk from one end to the other and get a perfect perspective. Amazingly warm and informative owner who is passionate about making sure her clients are happy, but she wasn't always there. However, she gave us her personal cell number if we needed anything and encouraged us to call. Room floor seemed sandy, breakfast room had croissant crumbs in a wide area and the staff just walked on by. In fact she wasn't much of a smiling person. Muescli container remained at rock bottom our entire stay, as did the fresh fruit offering of 1 apple, 1 mushy banana and a kiwi. Funny was one 8 yr old who came down to breakfast at least 5 minutes before his parents, obviously excited to see the breakfast buffet, and looked at it, kept shaking his head and threw up his hands in disbelief!

We reallly enjoyed our stay at this charming B and B. It is in an old but beautifully appointed house. The family room was large and light. There was actually a separate room attached with 2 twin beds for our son. Breakfast was in the pretty living room and we enjoyed having a pot of coffee with hot milk. The staff was very helpful and kind. No elevator, so just pack light! The location was great and we were able to walk many places and the cathedral was just a few blocks away.

Very good

B'fst was very good and included in the price. Location was also good near some nice bars and bistros and 2-3 minute walk from the centre of town and two tram lines. Staff were helpful and cheery and spoke several languages. very clear questions and answers via text. Overall very clean, but the ceiling lights could do with a little clean.

Other than location very little. Disappointing Breakfasts.Very little fresh produce just seemed to be a cheaply produced product. Uncomfortable bed. Shower water wasn’t hot & extractor fan didn’t work.

This B&B, although a bit distant to the train station Saint-Jean, is conveniently located at the city center on the quiet side street of Rue Boulan and very close to the large supermarket at Meriadeck from/to where one can take the tram on line A to/from the airport. We walked everywhere in Bordeaux except when we visited Cite du Vin, Halles de Bacalan, and Bassins des Lumieres with tram line B. One other nice thing about its location is that it is very close to the Musee des Beaux-Arts. The building and the room had lots of character and the breakfast, which was customized according to the preferences of the guests, was held at the ground floor and was very good in terms of French standards; we always left full. There are also complimentary tea and coffee with the suitable machines in the room. Most importantly, our hostess Laetitia was very helpful and provided lots of information on places to visit and eat. On our final day, we were also able to leave our luggage after check-out and return later to pick them up. We highly recommend this place to those who would like to stay at the city center yet reach the airport with the tram.

The breakfast was poor

Truly French B&B w fresh croissants for breakfast plus goat milk yogurt, plates of cheese & homemade almond cake one morning, pancakes the next Wonderful central location in quiet street. Spiral stairs are steep but you feel like you're going up mystical tower. Simple functional bedroom w balcony to street. Clean, functional shower w heated towel rail. Towels a little thin, but fine. Any simplicity offset by charm of young attentive manager .

Vacuuming outside bedroom door in the afternoon when I was resting. Tissues stuffed into holes above the bed. Not at all welcoming or friendly and dreadful smell of drains on arrival .
