Our stay was very pleasant, and the location is excellent! We were able to do practically everything on foot. The experience feels very much like a bed and breakfast: it is an apartment divided into several suites with a shared living room and kitchen. I really enjoyed the experience of staying in a historic building like this in Bordeaux! The bed was okay. It is important to note that since it is an old apartment, the wooden floors creak quite a bit. This might bother light sleepers, as we could sometimes hear people walking in the hallway; however, all the other guests were very quiet and polite. Breakfast was basic, consisting of croissants, baguettes, butter, and yogurt. Breakfast: we missed having cheese or something similar, which had been offered at the other places we stayed at in France. Additionally, at the end of our stay, we found it strange that we were charged a tourist tax of €4.50 per day per person, especially since there was a sign in the room stating the tax was €3.00. It was unexpected and odd, as our research showed that these taxes vary, and usually, only 5-star hotels charge around €5.00, which was not the case for this property. Overall, it was still a very pleasant stay!

1) Location - - absolutely fantastic. We were close to all major sites and walked to all attractions. The supermarket was literally 100 steps away. The tram was 3 minutes walking. I cannot say enough about the location! 2) Staff was very nice and accomodating 3) Breakfast: French style: Croissants/Baguette/2 types of jam, coffee with hot milk, yogurt - - it was good. 4) Bedroom: Large size room and a very comfortable bed. The staff provided daily room service. 5) Shower: Excellent with overhead shower with excellent water pressure. 1) The shower/bathroom/sink area had no privacy and it was awkward! Please consider installing a door to provide privacy for daily/morning routines. 2) The room had windows but we could not open them to get fresh air due to mosquitos! 3) The room was accessible only by 12 spiral steps! This was not known to us and not included in the description of the room or we would have selected another room or property. They provided fans to us but we did not need it. Although we did open the window once and I got multiple mosquito bites! But overall, the location beats everything else and I still give them high marks. I suggest they provide more privacy in the bedroom and let guests know about the stairs.

Location

The location is convenient. Although the building is old, the room and common area were nicely decorated. Breakfast was good. Everyone was friendly and helpful The instructions to get into the building/key could be a little bit clear (with images will even be better) I forgot to tell the host that none of the heat/radiator worked. It was quite cold at night. There were people yelling on the street and people moving stuff early in the morning and late evening but that's not the host's fault.

The location was truly excellent. We really loved the neighbourhood and the convenience to the Tram. We also enjoyed having the use of the living room and kitchen and could make ourselves a cup of tea in the evening. Our hosts were very helpful and attentive as well. Nothing

Perfect location, close to everything, staff was very nice and helpful. Old building, could hear from the floor above. Could be better indicated where the apartment is.

Nice clean room with comfortable bed, in a very good location close to the Cathedral. Finding it was difficult. We found the building but there are no signs, and to start with we couldn't find the bell as the writing is completely faded. This needs to be addressed. When we did find the bell we had to ring three times. But when the host arrived he was very charming. Breakfast was basic but fine.
