The staff were extremely attentive, courteous and left no questions unanswered. High marks to Joe at reception - his warmth and professionalism resulted in what may have been the easiest and most enjoyable check-in experience we’ve ever been through. Parking is super convenient, and everything we wanted to do was easily within walking distance. Some of the best dining experiences in all of Boston are just a short walk from the property, and the staff pointed us in the right direction, while steering us clear of potentially less desirable experiences. Overall, our experience was absolutely top-notch; we have no complaints, and will make it a point to stay here again next time we’re in Boston.

The room had gorgeous views and was extremely clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Breakfast was delicious!

This was the best hotel experience I have ever had. From the moment we arrived by water taxi, a member of the Inn met us down by the dock. I felt as if I was royalty...The Inn has the most beautiful setting being on the harbor yet a wonderful view and walking distance to the best part of the city. I loved the benches outside for a beautiful place to land at the end of a long day of walking. The staff was amazing. The breakfast was wonderful. Our room was absolutely amazing. I already want to plan my next trip back there.

Wonderful place and great location!

Absolutely exceptional experience here! Our host Maureen went out of her way for us to feel at home. Perfect location between the North End for food and the historic tours. Comfortable beds, pristine environment, lovely views of the harbor, and kind and accommodating staff. It was the highlight of our stay in Boston.
-
A classic boutique hotel, with outstanding service. Location was perfect, on the wharf downtown Boston.

A few additional highlights: Joe at the front desk was very accommodating and yes, the breakfast delivered to your room was as fantastic as all the reviews indicated it would be. I look forward to staying here the next time we're in Boston.

Epic stay at BYH Inn & Marina for my wife and I celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary in Boston, and eventually a week on The Cape for America's 250 celebration. Incredible visit with history. Fenway was iconic. Food & drink was as good as it gets, and you don't have to go far for anything. The centerpiece was our stay. Hard to even describe the balcony view for morning coffee with awesome breakfasts delivered to your room... or enjoying a few adult beverages under the lights at night. 24/7 view of activity on the harbor & an impromptu Yacht tour was something to behold. Without question though, our stay would not have been the same had it not been for the best staff anyone could ever ask for. Joe, Wesley, and Maureen. Top Notch is to say the least. Thank you all so much for your kindness and hospitality.

Their breakfast is unparalleled- absolutely amazing as food is fresh and so well made. They provide hot drinks, fruit and cookies as part of the stay as well. There was a yoga mat and Lindt chocolates in our room - and an umbrella for those sudden rainstorms. It is set in a gorgeous location with easy access links and all very safe and convenient. Joe was so helpful and provided so much information and insight as well as being so much fun to talk to! We loved this hotel and would definitely recommend to all our friends and family.

Incredible views, location, breakfast and room! All of the staff were so helpful. Our room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. They offer eye masks for the bright sun that comes in off the water in the morning. The location right on the Harbor was perfect. I never wanted to leave my balcony. We opted to eat the complimentary breakfast every morning because it was so delicious. French toast and omelettes! This was truly a boutique hotel experience.

Upon arrival we had to have staff re-clean portions of the bathroom because the cleaning crew had not done a satisfactory job; dirt and hair in corners, and hair in the bathtub. The staff on duty when we reported this was immediately apologetic and even though they were not part of the cleaning crew (who had left for the day), they came in with equipment and took care of the issue. All staff were very attentive, polite, friendly, particularly the gentleman who brought us breakfast every morning. We felt the manager was also friendly but could perhaps benefit from a less casual relationship with the rest of the staff; substandard cleaning and/or service usually occurs when management enables it by not being assertive enough. Overall a great stay, comfortable bed (in which to enjoy that breakfast!), and excellent ever-changing view of a variety of water craft on the bay. Yes, would stay again.
