The Inn at Longwood Medical

The ac unit was in the wrong place in the room. Keep blowing on us all night. We had to put a chair in front of it. The iron they brought to our room was dirty and ruined one of my shirts before we noticed the dirty bottom of the iron. The coffee maker had dirty water in it. Very gross.

We had to wait 25 minutes to get our key, as 2 groups checked in ahead of us. Their computer glitched regarding our 75 incidental charge going through. We were on a time crunch.

The staff were not friendly, they were in the midst of changing over their parking system and didn't explain it well to customers or the fact that one of their elevators was out due to repair - there was a long line constantly waiting for it. The room we got was where the service elevator was and maintaince closet so we had no window to the outside and had a vented air conditioner - not what I asked for.

The fact that I had to lug all of my luggage up 8 flights of stairs and they had no staff there to help because yet again the fire alarms went off and the elevators never got back into service until afternoon from morning. They never offered discounts, they have no pool, no weight room, nothing! Parking is 30 dollars a day. 75 per night for incidentials not per stay. Walls paper thin. Overpriced especially for families with sick family members at the hospitals.

I rarely write reviews, but I have to give a shout-out and a huge thank-you to the staff at Longwood, especially Sara and her coworker (I'm so sorry I can't remember his name!). During an unexpected, stressful, and complicated family medical situation as smooth as possible and provided a safe haven as I spent the week between the hotel and Brigham and Women's. Kudos to the entire crew.

Nice Parking was insufficient

Charge a $30 fee per room that they don’t disclose and charge on top of the advertised rate when you arrive.

Parking was easy and location was near BU and Fenway.

Was a clean, quiet, safe space. Very convenient parking. Easy walk to landmarks.

The hotel is 17 minute walk to Fenway with great places for a bite to eat or drink in the way there. They have a restaurant/bar in the hotel and it is connected to a garage a small mall style food court.

Very clean, easy access to parking. Front desk was less than friendly upon arrival check-in.

Wonderful place to stay. Nice area within walking distance to colleges, hospital, Fenway Park, and more. The rooms are very nice. Definitely a place I’ll book again

I am just taking away some stars for their hidden charges. As i had to pay facility fee at the hotel plus parking fee together USD 75.00. So 30 dollar was for parking which is okay as on website it says its paid parking but why do you charge facility fee? Rest hotel is great, location is great, room was clean. You can see housekeeping working all the time.

Ac unit to close to the bed. How's on the person sleeping on that side. I froze all night.
