The hotel is slightly off the beaten path, but is in a nice walkable neighborhood, which is safe and quiet. It looks like an older apartment building that was converted to a hotel. The room was spacious and clean. It’s a perfectly fine choice for Brookline / Boston, but lacks some of the amenities and polish of an upscale hotel.

We had a great stay here! The hotel was very clean and quiet, and our room was cool, comfortable, and nicely maintained. The woman at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. We did have a small issue with the showerhead, but the front desk responded right away and took care of it very well. There are also several grocery stores and plenty of restaurants nearby, which was very convenient. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back the next time we visit Boston!

The outlets for charging were bad, and some valet workers didn't help with luggage when we left.

I had a comfortable stay here, I loved my bed. Bathroom is smaller than I’d like. But over all great stay and would stay again. Comfy beds and clean rooms. Elevators could have been cleaner. But otherwise 5 star.

Loved this stay for me and my husband and sister. Room was kept clean, food was good, my only negative was the bar not fully being open at least according to the young lady behind the counter. One day it read open on the sign but was not the next it read closed but was open. But aside from that i was satisfied

Clean, modern, tastefully decorated room. Updated modern bathroom. Bathroom was low on toilet paper when we arrived but staff was able to replace it after we contacted them. Great option for a modern hotel with great amenities close to downtown Boston.

Air conditioning in room did not function well

Beautiful and fantastic location!

The room itself was roomy and airy, with the AC working just perfectly to keep us comfortable. Valet parking was pricey at $55 but the service was prompt and convenient. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained. A special shoutout to Alexis at the front desk, who made the trip especially memorable for the two ladies in my family through her warm and thoughtful hospitality. She really helped make our stay a great experience. We enjoyed our stay and would happily consider Hotel Iris again when visiting the Boston area. Thank you for hosing us.

Ice machine in 4th floor wasn’t

The staff was super busy with all the folks needing accommodations, but wow kudos for keeping it calm. They were so friendly and made check in a breeze. The rooms here are STUNNING and extremely clean. We feel super comfortable after a very long day at the airport with 2 young kids and 2 elderly parents. Can’t wait to explore the area tomorrow!

all good
-
A bit far from downtown. The bedroom was fine but the bathroom appeared to have not been cleaned. Lots of hair in the drain and a wet floor
-
It was perfect for our needs, the T was right across the street for easy access to Fenway and downtown. It was clean, and staff were very nice and very helpful. We would definitely stay there again!
-
This hotel is in a great location in Brookline. Steps to the T and restaurants. Quick trip downtown. There was parking on site (valet) and there is a great outdoor patio and a bar so when you just have some downtime, it was a nice place to relax, catch up on email, and get a drink. The staff was super friendly — would definitely return here.
-
The room was beautiful with every need anticipated. Convenient and fun neighborhood with many restaurant, cuisine, shopping and transportation options. I will certainly be back!
-
The hotel is in great location, nice food places and stores to go in walking distance. Everyone working at the hotel was amazing, really helpful. They treat you super well, great people. We loved our stay, definitely our top choice for staying in Boston!
-
One complaint was the puffed up pillows for sleeping. Very uncomfortable. Also heavy comforter on beds in the summer. Next time would explore other hotels.
-
The parking fee also seemed a little expensive, which was a bit disappointing. However, the facilities were clean and the staff were generally friendly and helpful, so overall, we were satisfied with our stay.
-
Front desk and valet staff were 10/10!!!!!! Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!
