SureStay Hotel by Best Western Brunswick

We called ahead and checked their nightly rate. The gentleman stated $66 +tax. We informed him we had a service animal with us and he said there was a small pet fee. We asked if he had 2 side by side first floor exterior entrance we had 2 people with disabilities he stated yes he had 2 rooms first floor side by side. We asked how we weresupposr to pay the pet fee for our service animal he said you'll pay it here it's just a small pet fee. We then told him we were getting a better rate through a booking company were we still able to get the first floor side by side exterior entrance rooms. He said yes no problem. So we booked through you and pulled 40 cask to pay the pet deposit when we got there we didn't say a thing about being charged a pet fee for a service animal. While checkin xx he informs us we have to also pay $50 deposit per room and $20 for the service anima. We were never informed of this deposit it wasn't mentioned in the listing or during our conversation and we were stuck paying it bc our room was non refundable . And then he hands is 2 key cards 119 123 um sir these are side by side oh no I not have any side by side I reminded him of our conversation 15 min earlier he said oh . And the ççrooms were over 20 feet apart and no one stayed in either room on the right or the left v23 was boiling hot and it took over 4 hours to cool down there are burn marks around the light and smoke detctorthe shower hose sprayed everything but me

The was a motel with some new paint and Best Western’s name. It was awful. Shower sucked and leaked. Linens were dingy. Towels were smal and just wiped around the water. Breakfast had stale food and gray coffee. Yuck!

First of all the pictures do not match what the actual room looks like. The floors were dirty, there was trash under the furniture and dust was all over the room. There was no phone and the tv was staic. Not to mention after figuring out how to call the front desk they lied and said the pool was only closed that day.... Well spoiler it was closed both days we were there. That's just a part of it. Do not recommend

Price was good Could have a a little more cleaning

Place was dirty, mold in bathroom, dirty sheets, no towels and when we requested towels they were dirty

Great Location and wonderful room

Weather was bad driving thru Georgia. We had to stop for the night. Quick easy affordable for quick need

The pool was green they said they were gonna clean it but never did and the tv only had sports channels

The location of the hotel was acceptable. It was close to several places and within ten minutes to many other locations. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the facility. The breakfast was not worth having, there was a gun left in the room by the previous occupant, the pool was green, full of bugs, and unusable. The mattress was old and very squeaky and uncomfortable. The room was ONLY cleaned once during the stay, and I had to ASK for it to be cleaned. The only reason that I stayed there was that it was too late to find another hotel. I booked this hotel because of the pool access which in turn was NOT accessible.

Didn't stay still currently trying to get refund The green pool the dirty carpet in the hallway the Marijuana smell in the lobby was overwhelming

The room smelled, the mattress was sinking in the middle and there were roaches. I was only in the room for maybe 15 minutes. But when I saw the roaches, I immediately went to the front desk to ask for a refund

The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were what we needed for our stay. There were restaurants nearby and convenient shopping. I would return!

Everything was perfect we have stayed before this makes twice n if we go to Brunswick we b bak Air it was hot in our room

They have hidden fees they wanted to charge my car $50 extra in case I damaged the room but on the site it doesn’t say anything about no extra fees so I left

when we got there, the room was 92degrees, it took 4 hours to cool. The bathroom had a big hole in the wall, and the shelf was detached from the wall. the toilet would not flush because the chain was broken and we had to put our hands into the tank water to make it flush. I spoke three times to the staff, and one said he was sorry, the others said that nothing could be done. All that was bad enough, but the kicker was that the t.v. was intermittent and would just give a circle and then most of the time say that the router needed to be reset, once again I called (on my cell phone because the phone in the room did not work) the front desk said nothing could be done. we initially stayed there, for the price and breakfast but on Sunday morning when we were checking out, breakfast was not available. my advice, Pay a few dollars more and STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE I did ask for partial refund and you guessed it Nothing could be done

Confusion from booking.com and hotel

Before I made this reservation I called the hotel to check to see if the pool was available…at that time I was told it was…I asked again and was told yes…Friday I check in…drive around the building to take a look at the pool and it was green and extremely cloudy. But, I could of dealt with that…we were going to the beach with family anyway… Friday night we get back to the room get settled from the day and see roaches crawling all over the floor. After we killed them and checked ALL our bags and suitcases…I called down to the front desk explained that we are killing roaches and was told there was NOTHING they could do.. that they didn’t have another room available…he told me I could check out and go down the street.. my first problem is WE HAD ROACHES IN OUR ROOM.. My second problem came when he told us there’s was nothing he can do.. he didn’t even offer to come spray the room… the way the economy is these days..i can’t afford to cancel the room wait 3-5 days for a refund and at the same time go to another hotel on a holiday weekend with holiday rates…I am EXTREMELY devastated that this was apart of my holiday weekend with my family
