Amazing price. Amazing location. Pretty clean. Lots of parking spaces. Check-in and check-out are extremely fast. Staff are very attentive to your needs. They gave us some extra check-out time at no additional cost. Shout out to Andrés. It’s what you expect for the price. It’s not luxury, but it’s perfect if you arrive late to Cancun and don’t want to waste hundreds of dollars on a nice hotel.

Location was great for my purposes. Plenty of restaurants in the area. I was able to take local transportation. The facility was clean. This is the only positive I can say about the hotel. Staff needs more training in customer service Breakfast was terrible, salsa and chips, eggs and beans and fruit. The a/c in my room stopped working in the early morning (80 degrees outside), there is NO PHONE in the room so I had to go downstairs to the desk and ask if someone could come repair the air conditioner and they asked if the lights were still on. The room is basic, tv only has one English speaking channel; CNN. No clock, shower is lukewarm with a curtain instead of a door and they only give you 2 towels and no wash cloth. Window a/c unit is loud and interrupts your sleep. Marriott should be ashamed to put their name on this “motel”. Needs major renovations ?

Staff needs to be more friendly and willing to assist, cleanliness is a must, and breakfast needs to be revisited with the menu! Have more options
-
Very good service, big room and clean Facilities kind of old, expensive, you can have a stay near ocean with the same price
-
The AC was very noisy and impossible to set the expected temperature: only meaningless numbers from 1 to 9. As well, setting up the Cool mode was a brain screwing puzzle.

Disappointing

Place was old and musty

The receptionist was amazing ! She helped me in everything taxi, printing, any other consulting. It needs some upgrades - floor, paint, doors looks old if this is a “Marriott” you need to pay attention and make it more fancy - this looks like a 1990s hotel - please upgrade - the local administrators are doing the much as they can to make it look decent but please do something from your part.

The location was good. The rooms were not clean. The sheets and towels were dirty/very worn out. The breakfast was very inadequate. The machines at the facility were not working. The staff said they were operational at the hotel next door; we went there, but they weren’t working there either.

The breakfast was ok Linens n towels weren’t washed properly, the room wasn’t that clean
-
We booked room for three but it was a room too small even for one person. It was very musty but the small window is closed shut. It desperately needs fresh air.

Location only. Oscar was rude! He lied to my face. My reservation was cancelled without notification and on arrival he told me no rooms were available. I stood at the front desk and rebooked on Bookings.com right in front of him. Then I showed him the reservation I made on my phone, he checked his system and saw my reservation. This was after he said the hotel was fully booked. He gave me the worst room in the hotel. When I asked to see the Manager, Oscar and his female colleague went into the office for 10-15 minutes. I heard them giving the Manager their explanation about my issues with checking in before instead of him just coming out to speak with me in front of his staff. The Manager was cool at resolving my issues with the front desk staff. However, Oscar never spoke to me or greeted me after that for the entire time I stayed there. The other staff at least said ‘good morning’ or ‘good afternoon’. The bathroom was filthy, the water from the shower head was just a trickle, there wasn’t any telephone in the room, the air from the AC stunk which made the room smell like sewage. The entire 3rd floor smelled like sewer everyday when we left the room to take the elevator. There are 2 elevators and 1 stopped working. The staff/hotel is supposed to provide a towel for guests who use the pool. They told us they only had 1 left when we (party of 5) asked. The gym needs a better elliptical machine. It made loud noises. There was no disinfectant wipes, the container was empty. I was appalled at the standard especially since this hotel is part of the “Marriott” brand.

The odor in the room. It was dark. No mini fridge or microwave.

Breakfast was good The only thing is that I travel because emergency of the hurricane and one staff didn’t understand the urgency of an emergency and cannot think or act because of that and want to follow all the rules and policy , when is an emergency and is a huracanes in Cancún they should be more kindly.
