Hotel Blue Star Cancun

I think they have to explore something else in the swimming pool area, with music and some one at the bar, it's my recommendation to give more live to this amazing place

The room 1a smelled like pure mold and there was no hot water

The beds were fine. Hotel staff helpful. The hotel needs an update. No water to the jacuzzi, despite you paid extra for it. No warm water and very low water pressure. Breakfast you need to pay extra if you not OK with toast only. Worn out pillows. We have to change room 2 times due to water issue and leakage from ceiling. We asked for compensation and have not got a response yet

Got to see the New Year’s Eve fireworks from the balcony. Away from the beaches but great place downtown.

The location is good for most of the usual tours that are offered in Cancun. The bedrooms in general require urgent maintenance. Everything seems to be falling apart, and it has a mould smell. The breakfast is a joke - bread, instant coffee and cereal- are the only options.

Room had an ants infestation and smelled like sewage and humidity in the bathroom. Really stinky room.

Water pressure needs adjustment. Staff was VERY friendly. Clean establishment. Affordable. Breakfast (above and beyond continental) was delicious and inespensive. I would recommend Blue Star!

Charming boutique hotel in Cancun Centro. Very friendly staff. Free parking on premises was appreciated and also nice that they have an on-site restaurant/pizzeria. I did not try the buffet breakfast. Jacuzzi in the room is nice for a romantic evening and the bed was comfortable. There was no desk in the room in which I stayed, nor any place to put one. I should’ve checked more carefully when booking. Also in the morning I was awakened by traffic noise.

Big room and free parking. Close to market Mould in a bathroom, broken sink, one dirty mug at the room and nothing else. You could hear everything and everyone.

I gotta say, the staff was great even though we communicated mostly through Google translate (my fault, I don't speak Spanish!) they lent towels for the beach, gave directions, and called a ride to the airport for us in the early morning. The room smelled really terrible. The smell of sewer came from the sink, and could not get rid of it. The location seemed more central to downtown, but was actually a 10 minute walk, so keep that in mind if booking.
