The employees were nice We didn't even stayed one night we took one look at the room and left, the photos are very misleading the "simple" room was nothing more than a closet small and dirty we couldn't fit standing up I'm 1.75cm the paint above the bed was falling and everything had details, the worst is that when I tried to cancel they only give me a partial refund because the check in was after 9pm truly horrible experience for a hotel I cannot believe they actually rent this as a room.

The location. Mexican decor in halll ways. Booked iIkaro Colonial but when we arrived they tried to put us in a room with no windows and no private bath, the room smelled of cockroach spay. We refused to take it as we booked a room with private bath and kichenette. They offered to move us to Ikaro Suites but charge an extra $50 ca. We still didnt get what we booked but at least we got a private bath and comfy bed. But the toilet leaked acoss the floor into bedroom space. They did nothing to rectify the problem saying it was the shower however we spent 2 nights in Playa del Carmen and when we got back toilet water was quite far into our room. Also the breakfast was aweful if you did not get there exactly when it opened you got cold eggs and beans,at least the coffe was hot! Lol. I would not suggest these hotels as they catered to Locals and not tourist. RIP OFF

The staff were apologetic. We had booked a room with two double beds and a city view. We arrived here. Checked in and paid. They took us to a room which had one bed and no windows. We are friends and we don't want to share a bed. They offered us a room at another hotel but it was not in the city centre. We asked for a refund and they agreed. We found another room at Hotel Girasoles on booking.com.
