The artwork in this hotel is next level. The staff is laid back and friendly. The room was comfortable with nice linens. The shower was large with warm water. They were hangers and drawers and a place to store your luggage. There was even storage space above the toilet in the form of a hanging rack. You can turn off the overhead light from the bed and turn on two bedside lamps from one switch by the bed. The room has a window which opens and so does the bathroom. The housekeeper I had is an absolute gem. The restaurant and pool are now separate from the hotel. The pool can be used by restaurant guests now. And I recommend the restaurant for multiple reasons. As other reviewers have mentioned the hotel will refer you to other hotels where permission is granted. This is not something that was a problem for me at all, just thought you might like to know. The handle on the toilet needed to be jiggled to stop the water from running and overflowing onto the floor from the tank. The door to the bathroom has a lock on it that was locked when I got there so I could have easily locked myself in had I not checked. There is no outlet by the bed. The door to the room locks automatically. There is no interior only lock. I would stay there again if I had to be in Cancun.

The restaurant for breakfast Hotel broken, all services in hotel are leased out to third parties and some lessees, restricting or denying service service as they fight with landlord. Also the remote hand held credit card processors had huge problems with keypad not accepting pin numbers and cards being denied. I knew my card was good, so tried the tap and everything was fine. Hotel should be banned from booking. Com till they resolve their issues, also no glasses in room to have drink of water, how do I tale my medication?

Their pool has been closed for a year for construction. And that area is not accessible. That takes a lot away from the enjoyment of just enjoying the nature.

Staff excepcionalmente amable

The Wi-Fi and water system were completely broken. Btw, it was a great location. They must update their services.

Fix the pool. Building maintenance could be better
-
No swimming pool

Unfortunately there was some water filtration in the room during a strong rain which shouldn't happen. And another thing is the loud music you hear from the street, which goes during the night from the other places around. Also during our stay the pool was not available so the hotel proposed to use the pool from a different hotel nearby which we didn't use.

Loved the location, exterior and common spaces were elaborately detailed with paintings, sculptures and decor! The breakfast restaurant (by the pool) provided an exquisite dining experience with 5 star service and selection! I enjoyed an 80 minute massage at the spa located next to the pool. All the amenities were available! Quite a few quirky things but the price point allowed for lower expectations. I am not complaining, just commenting: the tv was ancient, was turned on by the bell hop (obviously had to tip him for bringing my bag to the room!) and the next night could not figure out how to get it to work. Mosaic floor tiles look nice, but were uneven and rough, some missing, and the floor was not level in the bathroom so the door had to scrape across the tiles to open and close. The sink faucet was not the right style for the sink, and I was thankful there were hangers, but all old and mismatched. It was just little things.
