bed was HARD to get towels asked three times not allowed pool towels before 7 am or after 7pm shower never got really warm water comes out the door all over the floor no clear instructions on where things are or hours food hit and miss on quality

I think it should be better communicated that not all restaurants work everyday (many facilities are closed on Sundays). The app also didn’t show the correct closing time for one of the restaurants, which almost made us loose dinner. Pool and jacuzzi also close somewhat early (around 7 PM).

Oleo Cancun Playa is a great little resort with a boutique feel. The staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The massages and spa are also fantastic! No issues!
-
Great area and great food great staff! Our air conditioning wasn’t working to the best for the first few nights .

Everything… esp the services and staff Lacks AC and adequate ventilation by the dining areas and the bar. Too humid… no fan to ease off the moisture.

The staff was nice Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing from beginning to end. The room we were assigned looked nothing like the photos advertised online. As soon as we entered, it had a stale smell, as if it had not been properly aired out or maintained for months. We paid for an ocean view room, but the view was so limited that we had to go outside and look from a different angle just to see the ocean. The hotel was also not family-friendly at all. There were couples engaging in inappropriate behavior in public areas, and the atmosphere clearly catered to adults. The hotel should either advertise itself as adults-only or at least provide some facilities for children. There wasn’t even a small slide or any kid-friendly entertainment available. The beach was another major disappointment. The pictures online were very misleading. The shoreline was covered with large amounts of seaweed, making it unpleasant to use. Although machinery was present to remove it, very little was actually being cleared. The food was by far some of the worst we have experienced. We tried multiple restaurants and different menu items throughout our stay, hoping to find something enjoyable, but everything was consistently poor. Housekeeping was also unacceptable. We repeatedly requested room service to remove overflowing trash, but no one came until the third day of our stay plus our iron was not working properly and we asked to change it from the very first day and they ignored our request for 2 times! The children play area was very poor I didn’t feel comfortable staying in there for even Five minutes. The experience became so frustrating that we decided to cut our vacation short and change our flight home. This was our first visit to Mexico, and unfortunately the experience was so unpleasant and stressful that it left a very negative impression. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation, especially families with children.

It was very nice we loved it I wish there was more food
-
Nice room big room with perfect view on the ocean. Good restaurants with lots of variety. No housekeeping if you only book a 2 night stay and we had to call each time to get new towels otherwise we’d have to use the same ones for 3 days
-
hotel staff were not nice, accomodating, inviting, attentive or caring. not enough chairs at pool to accomadate guest, hotel staff awful,
-
Wait staff was great, beds were small and uncomfortable. Bedding was a mess. Really only the beds and bedding

When book at affordable price it is very decent with all inclusive food/drinks, nice pool, and location. The drawers in room and miscellaneous items like curtains need maintenance and up keeping. This would be a 5 stars if all areas are remodeled & upgraded.

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my recent stay at Oleo from March 25/26I booked this stay through booking.com specifically for the premium tier amenities, but the experience was a bait-and-switch. Issues Encountered: • False Advertisement: I was charged for "exclusive" beach access and a private bar with entertainment. Upon arrival, I found these areas were open to all guests and the entertainment was non-existent. A manager later confirmed these services were discontinued over a year ago, despite still being listed as active on your website. • Unprofessional Staff: At 12:00 PM, I attempted to resolve this with a front desk agent named Yuli. She was dismissive and rude, refusing to assist us and stating we had to wait for a manager. • Loss of Vacation Time: We were forced to wait until 3:00 PM for a manager to arrive. During those three hours, Yuli failed to provide any updates or inform the manager of our presence. We essentially paid to sit in a lobby rather than using the facilities. I am requesting a partial refund for the "premium" portion of my booking, as the services paid for were not provided. I look forward to your prompt response regarding how you intend to rectify this situation. Sincerely, J Thomas
