We enjoyed our stay at this well maintained b&b. Just a block from the beach and close to town.
-
Room was cramped. Staff was helpful and nice but rarely there. Close to beach though.

We stayed in the Ellie room. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was a small buffet but everything was fresh and delicious. The building is one block away from the beach, a quick 5 minute walk. Restaurants and shops are all in easy walking distance. It was a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Great location. Very friendly staff and relaxed environment. Rooms are small but there are many common areas available. Bathrooms are updated.

The Bedford Inn is a very nice, friendly place, well placed for walking to many areas of Cape May, and not far from the beach. The room was appealing and clean. The building is a lovely Victorian former home. Give it a try!

It was located a block from the ocean and walkable to shops and restaurants. There was a breakfast buffet in the morning, tea and coffee were always available and there was a refrigerator to share with other guests. Our bathroom was tiny(Ellie’s room) but manageable. The best part was sitting out on the balcony, porch, or sunroom, reading or having breakfast.

The room was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was amazing! The staff was incredibly helpful with restaurant recommendations. We plan to stay there again next year!

Close to beach and restaurants, could walk to easily; parking was tight

Excellent location! A block from the beautiful beach and walking distance to Washington Street Mall where more shops and restaurants are located. The Bedford Inn was very homey, providing a relax and cozy feeling to the home. It was very clean and our room was nicely updated yet maintaining a Victorian charm. We enjoyed our coffees (very good coffee) in the open front porch rocking chairs and the breakfast in the enclosed porch. We greatly appreciated the bicycles, beach towels and chairs provided by the Inn. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. It was a bonding weekend well spent with my daughters and will definitely return again.

Great location close to everything. Staff was excellent. Breakfast (included) was very nice.

We enjoyed breakfast and meeting other people at the table and hearing of their adventures as well. Staff were very attentive and easy to work with.
-
Everything was nice BUT no place to park a pick-up truck!

My husband and I had a lovely time in Cape May and at the Bedford Inn. The Inn was quaint, the room was comfortable, and we were walking distance to the beach and Washington St. Mall, etc. We especially enjoyed the daily breakfast that was included with the stay - Danielle was very attentive to guests and we appreciated the delicious coffee refills.

Breakfast could have ben better, otherwise, great place

We had an incredible stay here. The Bedford Inn is lovely! It was cozy and clean; the breakfast was delicious; and it is ideally located a very short walk to beach and near town! The staff was warm and added to the homelike feel. I highly recommend!
-
A beautiful Victorian-style inn conveniently located one block from the promenade and beach. It provided chairs and towels for the beach as well as bikes to ride around the town. Very walkable to the shopping and eating areas. Breakfast was delicious, with seating options available on the porches or inside. Our room was small, which was fine for the two of us for a couple of nights, but if staying longer, you might want to request a larger room. But would stay again!

Great location, close to commercial shopping and restaurant area, and to beach. Excellent breakfast and to near by afternoon tea time. Clean room and pleasant staff.

The breakfast was delicious and creative. Towels and beach chairs were available. I had difficulty regulating the air conditioner. The instructions were not clear. The room was too cold when I entered it.

We loved our stay at the Bedford Inn! Our room was quaint, beautiful, and thoughtfully appointed. One of our favorite parts was the balcony/porch just outside our room—we spent time relaxing in the rocking chairs, soaking up the sunshine. Every detail had been carefully considered, from the complimentary bottled water to the immaculate room to the warm hospitality. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and our B&B hostess was so kind and thoughtful, making us feel right at home. We would definitely stay here again! There were only a few minor things we didn’t love. The check-in window is fairly short, which could be a little stressful if your ferry is delayed, although the staff was wonderful about calling to make sure we would arrive in time. We also wished there had been a microwave for reheating leftovers. There was a shared mini fridge available, but we didn’t see a way to warm food up. The balcony was one of our favorite features, but on our last night another group stayed out there talking, and their voices carried into our room. Finally, it would have been nice to have at least a small ocean view. That said, the location was excellent, and these were very minor issues in what was otherwise a wonderful stay.

My daughter and I stayed in Room 4 (Edith’s room). Our first impression of the house was that it was very tidy but did show some signs of wear (ie carpets). It was very cozy, and I personally loved sitting on the second floor balcony with my coffee in the mornings. Lots of seating on the porches. We especially liked the mural on the dining room wall with all the painted dogs! Anna, the inn keeper, was fantastic! She was so accommodating and gave us a great recommendation for dinner. Breakfasts were very tasty! We had access to bikes which was so fun, and they provided beach towels and chairs for our use. The house is in a great location-1 block from the beach and a short 10 minute walk to Washington street mall with so many shops! Our room was nice, but the air conditioning unit was constantly running and quite loud. The bathroom looked newly remodeled and very nice. We enjoyed our stay!
