It was extremely old and tired. Needed many updates.

We were so disappointed when workmen began making horrible noise at 8:00 am each morning. The parking lot was full of workmen trucks making it difficult to park in the the tiny spaces. Power tools, cutting etc was going on all day. Sleeping in and afternoon naps were ruined. 😔

Was such a great spot to stay. Right on the beach. We had a group right above us that were having a party so none of us could sleep because the buildings were a little outdated. Had to have windows open to stay cool and walk way and a giant metal gate were right outside which kept slamming all night. Place was great though. Fit my family. Just wish we could have slept and wish there was an attendant on site. Me and my wife would def stay here without kids again. Shops and everything were right outside.

When I arrived, I wasn’t able to reach anyone for almost an hour. I’m not sure if my phone number was being flagged as spam, but none of my calls were answered and I didn’t receive a response to my texts. Fortunately, when my husband called, his call was answered, and from that point on everything went very smoothly. Overall, we had a great stay. Just one important tip for future guests, don’t forget to complete your check-in 24 hours before arrival!

A lovely choice for right on the beach and walking to everything! Although our room had a full functioning kitchen there are no pots/pans/teakettle, or dishes. That would have been good to know ahead of time. Other than that our stay was amazing!!

We stay here often because it’s close to the beach and shops. The showers/sinks are a little outdated but we don’t care, the staff always makes sure the rooms are clean.

Location and cleanliness helpful staff lovely area right on the beach Property has kitchen but nothing to cook with no pots pans knives nothing. Must bring everything yourself was not ready for that so we ended up eating out a lot simply because no cookware lol. Maybe tell people in advance so they can be ready other than that beautiful place

View Would like less strangers on our steps - so many tourists stopped and used our place as a backdrop for pictures. They were not staying at the property - just looky loows Did not like the parking - too tight

Very good

We really wanted to like this place, but we were disappointed with the condition of it all. Almost no outlets worked and it was not cleaned very well. Also, due to the proximity of this building to the village it was very hard to go to sleep at night as we heard loud music all night.

Just bring your own pots and pans or pay the extra money. I sit there a long time ago in pots and pans were available in the rooms. They still are with a fee.

Great!!

Location and kind staff That they no longer have kitchen basics stocked as in the past

Staff was friendly & very helpful. Location & ease of parking is a key aspect as to why we've come her time and again. We enjoy close proximity to beach as well as food options w/out having to get in the car. Although room appeared pretty well cleaned the room had an off putting smell. Maybe carpet? I also miss when Parking was just included in price.

The location in capitola was good. The little secluded water area was really nice for my kids cus they are still little. We did not fit in the parking lot, so we had to truck all our luggage and children from far away, up a big hill. It was so exhausting to arrive and to leave. The window in the bedroom with twin beds was completely pushed out. Letting the outside noise fill the room. My toddlers were too scared to sleep in there. Took several hours to get them down. The other bedroom that has a sliding door was also broken. The door does not stay shut on its own… so had to use towels and luggage to hold the door shut, but then that was also difficult because the kids couldn’t open the door to go to the bathroom. The floors were very dirty. My crawling one year olds knees were black after a couple minutes of crawling. There was no garbage disposal, which was inconvenient. There was no pots or pans. I had to go to the store and spend a bunch of money on Kitchen stuff I don’t need. It also would have been helpful to have trash bins or dumpster to empty all our trash bags.

Location and spacious for family Older and seemed a bit dirty

Unbeatable space of the room, and location cannot be matched. Parking is very tight, next time we will drive our car vs. truck.
