Nice location and pretty outside landscaping but honestly not great. Pictures were misleading. Our phones had no service in the room even while connected to the hotel WiFi and was making it so Netflix on the TV wouldn’t work, the room smelled musty and there was a damp sunken in part of the floor and the toilet was having problems flushing.

It was a great location for downtown Capitola. My brother got married at the Shadowbrook. Highly recommend going there even if you’re not getting married great bar outstanding food.

The staff is very helpful and very friendly. The room was clean, and it was quiet. It's located in a very convenient location which is a short walk to Capitola Village and the freeway is just a block away.

The location is great. Close to the downtown capitola area and Gayle’s bakery. Quiet and comfortable. The bed could be softer, but it was fine for two nights. One night the hot water came out scolding. It was an enjoyable trip.

This hotel was ok. Little dingy on the outside but room was clean and and updated. The balcony was a little suspect, old wood and cheap chairs. They said the pool was heated but kind of cold. The breakfast left a little to be desired as it offered no protein. Waffles are always fun but needed some hard boiled egg or sausage option. Had to stay here due to slim Pickens during car week. It was fine but I wouldn’t choose it again. No gym, small pool.
