Park Hyatt Aviara Resort, Golf Club & Spa

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a quick weekend getaway. The customer service was excellent. Check in went smoothly and our room was upgraded to a larger suite. The valet attendants were hustling to ensure clients did not have to wait for their vehicles. The property was exceptionally clean. Both evenings, someone arrived to provide turndown service, bottle water (sparkling as well), and to offer any additional services. All staff were exceptionally pleasant and friendly. This was our first time staying at this hotel and we will definitely return.

We had a great family stay at the resort and enjoyed the renovated, updated property very much. Everyone was super helpful and kind. Pools and slides were great fun. Food and beverages were excellent. Room and beds were very comfortable, We’ll be back!

The car retrieval was a little disorganized. Perhaps we should have called ahead to retrieve the vehicle. We waited awhile and it seemed that others that came to get their cars were serviced before us.

Amazing stay with our family! we have 2 kids ( 6 and 8) and couldnt think of a more perfect stay! Double King beds, YES! Pool and Slide for kids!!! YESSS

Everything else was perfect! Stayed for 5 days, went to Legoland for a day which was 3miles away. The rest of the stay, we spent it in the hotel, kid friendly. Went out for food after eating a couple of times in the hotel. Very nice area! Very nice neighborhood! It's worth the money. I would recommend staying here. I would come back again.

The hotel was okay overall, but the pool experience was disappointing. The pool wasn't very clean or well maintained, and it closed much earlier than expected each day. The water slide was also only open for a very limited time—it opened late in the day and closed early, making it difficult for families to enjoy it. If the pool and slide are important to your stay, you may want to consider this before booking.

Our 9 year old son enjoyed the pool and water slides We had a few bad instances during our stay. First night the AC didn’t work well and the room was hot. The room didn’t have good ventilation at all. The second day we were hearing 2 workers chatting over the intercom in our room. Apparently they were testing it but it was not enjoyable. Then our last day there was a large bug in the bathtub. The staff handled each instance well, however we expected a lot more from a 5 star hotel. Also, parking is $68 a night.

This is not a Park Hyatt. Kids focussed. Mass focussed. No attention for guests. Too busy.

The family had a blast. Beautiful property with an awesome pool area for the kids!

I had a great massage at the spa. The little coffee cafe with pastries was a plus. I liked the night lights that lit up to guide my way when I walked. The wait time for Sunday brunch was too long.
