Was good — pool hours could’ve been better/longer Pool hours

Price was fair. They make a big deal about promoting their swimming pool. I got to the hotel two hours after check-in started, and was told the pool was closing in 10 minutes. They close it at 6 PM. That’s the most insane policy for a hotel to have. It’s the middle of summer right now, and temperatures are in the mid 90s (37°C) Why would you close your swimming pool THREE HOURS before sunset? The pool was beautiful and refreshing and you felt like you were trespassing using it. I think they do it because they have a very famous pizza restaurant on the premises and they don’t want people out in the swimming pool in the restaurants open. Buy some plants and make a nice screen. ANOTHER WEIRD THING IS EVEN IF YOU HAVE A TRAIN TO CATCH OR NEED TO GET BACK ON THE ROAD, YOU CAN’T CHECK OUT OF THE HOTEL UNTIL 7 AM. THEY ACTED LIKE IT JUST WASN’T POSSIBLE. SO I HAD TO SIT THERE FOR 90 MINUTES AFTER GETTING READY FOR SOMEONE TO COME AND OPEN THE GATE. ALL IN ALL VERY STRANGE.

Everything was very nice, good staff, good breakfast, super clean. I just missed that the pool facilities were yet not open for use. It seems they open in july, but June is already super hot.

The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful, especially the server at morning breakfast. The property is beautiful, and the restaurant a true gem! Central location, with truly luxurious rooms.

It was very central and easy to walk to the Reggia. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing the restaurant was.

Spacious and comfortable room. Helpful host. Walking distance to the Royal Palace.

The excellent location within walking distance of the train station, the Royal Palace of Caserta and the central shopping district. The rooms were clean The property was secure with the gate and they had a decent breakfast included. The staff was very helpful. They arranged for an early morning ride to the Naples airport no problem. The immediate neighborhood around the villa is a little gritty, but get over it , big picture the convenience of the location out weighs that, facilities were very nice. For a short 2 to 3 day trip to Caserta it’s fine.

I love that it had a pool! The costumer service was great and many of the workers spoke English. I can’t complain. I do wish I the time the pool and days the restaurant is open was more clear .

MUSIC was very loud when parties were held until at the restaurant until mid night. We were very tired but could not sleep.... and one Restaurant staff - manager? was not friendly at all. I was very uncomfortable.

Great position, walking distance from Reggia di Caserta main entrance gate, and great staff, really helpful and friendly. Also the restaurants is very good. :) The rooms (and in general all the building) need some renovation; they're clean, but they've just seen better times. Also especially during weekends it can be quite loud because the rooms are the opposite of soundproofed. :(

Super friendly and helpful staff! Secure onsite parking, huge plus. Pizzeria/restaurant onsite was really convenient and had amazing pizzas(recommend reservations). We didn’t rate higher due to small maintenance issues (peeling paint and toilet didn’t flush properly) and our room was right above the restaurant, so noise didn’t end until after midnight. We didn’t mind since it was a Friday night and we only stayed overnight, so it was expected.

Location was very good, close to centre and train station Unfortunately I had a room directly above the entrance so it was very noisy as there was music until the early hours of the morning and people coming and going. However, the hotel is nice and I would definitely book it again, although I would make sure I get a room with a view of the beautiful garden.

Helpful staff with nice facilities for our needs. When booking we wanted to have twin rooms not doubles. At booking this was impossible to ensure, which caused a lot of confusion and additional cost. Ultimately we had to ask a relation who lives near Caserta to call in and sort the mess out face to face which is very poor.

We stayed at the Villa Maria Cristina in Casserta as we wanted to visit Naples but did not want to leave an car with English plates there. Naples half an hour by train. Air con, comfy beds, room, pool, breakfast all great. My Americano coffee at breakfast was exceptional. Parking underground was secure. We were entertained by the pool by a robot grass mower which constantly roamed around. Very good fish restaurant 7 mins away, also Main Street was near which had more restaurants and shops. The palace is well worth a visit. Not the hotels fault but Casserta is typical of many towns in the south by being a bit run down. That being said at no point did I feel uneasy about walking around. Underground parking was down a narrow curved slope. Felt I needed my partner at the top to make sure that no one was coming the other way!

Handy location. Walking distance to the Palace and restaurants. Breakfast was good and the staff friendly Rooms are a bit dated

The staff was amazing, the room was spacious, the pool on nice and there is parking. The parking is a bit uncomfortable.

1. Free parking at property can trolley all the way to the car from the elevator. 2. Helpful staff. 3. Good breakfast. 1. Parking can be a problem, hotel had party both nights, fortunately first night the manager was polite and helpful, moved his car for us so that we were abled to park, so second night they arranged a parking in front of the hotel. 2. We only stayed 2 nights had to changed room twice on the first day due to poor maintenance. The 3 rooms we were in all have problems such as water leakage from the shower, clogged water drainage in the shower, kitchen cupboard hinges problems in 2 rooms, all balconies walls need painting in all rooms, the first room we went in there were ceiling repairs 3 cuts and one piece open not covered up, stiff tap water on washhand basin. Fortunately they have room to change if the hotel is full don’t know how are the customers going to put up with it when the maintenance guy doesn’t come until the next morning
