The arboretum behind the hotel was gorgeous, and there is a lit walking path at night to listen to all the toads in the pond. My room was spacious with really high ceilings, good blackout curtains, and a fully enclosed shower (so many hotels these days have exposed showers that get water on the floor). Staff was helpful when I needed a a complimentary item. It’s about a 10-minute Uber to the Charlottesville main street shopping/dining area. If you are visiting the UVA Law or Business schools, or if you have a loved one in Copeley Hill Apartments, you could not be any closer than this.

The stay was excellent and convenient location to UVA campus and local surroundings. The property was clean and the beds were exceptionally comfy. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting UVA.

First class facility Nicely decorated room - Loved floor to ceiling black out curtains over extra large window with view of garden Arrived at 3 p.m. per advertised check in time but room was not ready until 4. Music in the restaurant outdoor patio was loud and heavy metal (poor choice) No coffee maker in the room - Argumentative response from the staff when we shared requested feedback about lack of in-room coffee ("Oh, if you had asked us upon arrival we would gladly bring it to your room.")

Great hotel but having to pay $30 for parking makes no sense. They should have a free self park. They are thousands of parking space unused.
