Great location on river not far from old town. Nice size swimming pool. Room was big with good bathroom. Staff are friendly and helpful Somewhere to get a drink or snack would be nice

The location was great! Everything was in walking distance. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The best thing about my stay was the giant bathtub. After a long day of walking and being a tourist, a nice hot bath was exactly what I needed. The room was very musty so I did a lot of open windows with the air running and the door open. I had no hot water the first night, however the staff quickly replaced my hot water heater the next morning. The room was dated and the furniture was not in the best condition. When looking at the walls, there had been some water damage at some point and you could see from about half way down the wall where it looked like the walls had water running down them especially on the side with the TV and desk. The room needs a fresh coat of paint and definitely should be aired out. While my room was clean enough, it was still dirty and could have used a good scrubbing from top to bottom.

Beautiful hotel, very close to Chiang Mai Night market, but across the river so more quiet. We stayed here during the flood, within 1 day the ground floor of the hotel was flooded, so we had nowhere to go. Despite the fact that the family was obviously occupied with saving their belongings and the rooms on the ground floor, they still made sure that we were comfortable. They brought us water, food, wellies and made sure we were OK. After two days the water subsided and they helped us to drier land and arranged a taxi and another hotel for us. A big thank you to the team of La Seine! The flood. ? But this was something that was completely out of the control of the hotel; they were as overcome by the amount of water as we were. But we were sorry we couldn't use the pool, the gym, and the atmosphere of the place. We will go back someday!

Breakfast, like the airport pick up,while promised on booking,never materialised. Staff at reception must be related to the owner, as noone could keep a job in the hospitality industry if they weren’t. Guest relationship with staff was the poorest I have experienced in Asia. With the exception of the cleaning ladies, staff here a pious attitude, with little to no care of guests requirements.

The decoration was nice and the pool area good architecture 1) no staff to help with bags had to haul them up to the first floor there was no lift 2) No door on the shower cubical but bathroom was a good size 3) No food or drink at the hotel - there was an area for a restaurant but not in use 4) Car park small 6 cars only

We spent a few days at La Seine and it was a phenomenal experience. The location was great. The staff in particular helped us plan several outings and spent time with us to ensure we did not offend anyone or mispeak in greetings/thanks. They really went above and beyond and I can't recommend them enough! Our room was clean and the shower was a great ending to adventures. Several markets were within walking distance and most tuk tuks destinations cost well under 200. The front desk got us a driver for the day to visit several temples and the Palace grounds. They also arranged a driver to take us to the airport at 4 am when most rideshare apps don't have drivers available. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this location for anyone wishing to visit the city! Their on site restaurant has been closed since covid. I did see construction occurring which means they should reopen soon. The establishment went above our expectations!

I loved the location, especially as I came for Loy Krathong, light festival its right next to the river, where the festivities are, and if you want to get to old town is walking distance (10mins to the eastern edge and less to night bazaar). Nice pool, eventhough I didnt get to use it and good room. The room had a weird smell, I didnt know if its just the scent of things there, but other than that it was a pleasant stay.
