Himku Hotel - adults only

Excellent stay at Himku Chiang Mai. Great location for the Songkran holiday and was able to get a room overlooking the main road and moat area so I was able to see all the festivities. (without getting soaked). I would definitely make this my go to stay next time I'm in Chiang Mai. The balcony/overlook had a double sliding glass door so noise and AC can be controlled efficiently. The location is prime. The rooms were clean and well laid out. No elevators but the stair layout is manageable. The staff is respectful and went above and beyond when my partly left a sweater behind. They were kind enough to arrange post and pick up to have the garment shipped for a minimal fee. No breakfast but nice touch to leave some local treats by your door. Nothing. I had an amazing stay.

Amazing hotel! We stayed two nights. Super quiet on the garden facing room- slept great! Clean and new facilities. Staff was nice and helpful. Super cute shops nearby to take things home. Did laundry at Bear Wash - super cheap, nearby billiard spots for nights out, went to two excursions- both able to pick us up directly at hotel given location. Hotel staff leaves out a surprise treat every morning for all guests!! No pool but didn’t miss that at all. No in-house cafe but there’s a cafe right next door open nearly all day which was amazing. Really no major downsides at all

It’s a great option to stayed in Chiang Mai. Beds, towels and amenities definitely makes you feel on vacation. Location is great, convenient stores and restaurants all by 5-10 min walking. Also we made check in before at 14:00. Which it was great for us.

The staff was so friendly and helpful, always greeted us so politely with a smile. The room was very clean and aesthetic. Far exceeded our expectations. The history of the hotel is really special too. We would definitely come back to stay here. :)

Our room was big, the bed was comfortable and the location (just outside the Tha Phae Gate) was excellent. No hot water in the bathroom sink (by design).....but I got around this (for shaving) by heating water in the electric kettle, so it really wasn't an issue.

Clean Boutique hotel in great location. Nothing

The location was good! It was a bit annoying to get into the old city because you had to cross two very busy streets but it was still very convenient. The shower is a half shower so water would get ALL over the floor. And it never got hotter past a "warm" temperature. It was endurable but not ideal

Friendly stuffs. Awesome location. Close to the street and sound insulation is not that good.

Liked everything about this hotel. Only a short walk to Old City and Sunday night market. Easy to get Grab taxis throughout day and evening. Restaurants close by. Cafe in the same building served generous breakfast and lunch dishes, we ate there several times. Room was spacious, super clean and comfortable, including a large bed with nice linens and a sink outside the toilet area with big counter space. Large desk and a makeup counter with chair were very useful. Most of all, the friendly staff helped us to enjoy our Chiang Mai visit to the fullest.

We loved our stay here! The location couldn’t be better—just a quick 2-minute walk across the street to the Old City. From the moment we checked in until the moment we left, the hospitality was outstanding. The staff held our bags when we arrived early and even brought them up to our room once it was ready. They gave great local recommendations and can easily arrange a private driver at a very reasonable price. Every morning, we found a small Thai dessert or snack waiting outside our door, and every single one was delicious! The room itself was spotless and had everything we needed. Fresh towels and bottled water (one per person) were provided daily. The shower stayed hot for both of us, and while the water pressure wasn’t super strong, it worked just fine. We also appreciated that they provided two room keys—something not all Thai hotels do. Noise from the road didn’t bother us, but if you’re a very light sleeper, it’s worth noting that rooms facing the front are on the main street. Overall, an excellent stay with top-notch service and unbeatable location! Nothing! Everything was great.

Breakfast was not part of the package. They did offer a small snack in the morning which was left just outside the door. It was a small gesture which was appreciated. The location was excellent. The view from the room overlooking the canal that goes around the center part of Chiang Mai was welcome to see every time I woke up in the morning.

It is small but clean and very beautifully designed The wall seems quite thin you can sometimes hear people outside but very minimally

The staff was super helpful and friendly. Clean, comfy, well located. The property is small. If you don’t feel like going out, you’re pretty much limited to your room… but it is a nice room.
