Comfortable clean room. Quiet.
-
No elevator. Not a big deal for single travelers but may be a big deal for families with luggage and young children.
-
Only negative is the beds are really hard, but other than that it was perfect

I recently stayed at Hotel P21 Chiang Mai, and honestly, it was a great experience! The location is excellent!! It's very close to Tha Phae Gate, making it perfect for runners who enjoy the popular square route around the old city. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They even allowed guests to use bicycles to explore Chiang Mai, which was a really nice touch. For Muslim travelers, there are halal food options nearby, and a 7-Eleven is just a short walk away. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean and well-maintained. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Chiang Mai! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you’re planning a trip to Chiang Mai! The only downside is that there’s no elevator, so you’ll need to use the stairsbut the staff were very helpful and assisted with carrying luggage.

The staff was wonderful. There is no elevator, however staff helped with my luggage upon request. No elevator. The stairs are a bit uneven, which makes it challenging going up and down.

The hotel is located in a quiet area a 5–10‑minute walk from the inner city. This brings a perfect balance: you can escape the crowds if you want while still having the main sights close by. The room is spacious and well equipped, though storage for clothing is limited. Everything else in the hotel was decent, not exceptional, but it matches the price paid. The hotel has no elevator, so be aware that you have to carry your luggage up and down. Also, the bathrooms ventilate through a grille directly into the hallway, so sounds from the bathroom can be heard. The walls seem thin, which makes the hotel noisier.

Nice Budget hotel. Value for money No Lift / elevator to go to upper floors.

Poor hotel, poor room

This is easily one of the best hotels in the area for the price. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the air conditioning is quiet — which is not always the case in this price range. No mosquitos in the room, which makes a huge difference, and the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Even the small details like clean, fresh towels show the care they put into guest comfort. For travelers visiting Thailand, this hotel is a fantastic choice. It’s absolutely worth paying a little extra compared to the ultra-cheap options, where you often end up sacrificing comfort and peace of mind. Here, you can truly relax and enjoy your stay without any worries. Thank you to the amazing team for the great hospitality — 100% worth it!

Good location, good value for money

Passable

I had a very central location which made things easy. The room was spacious and clean. It would have been better with a lift! And breakfast would’ve been good rather than having to go out early morning for coffee and something to eat
-
Clean spacious and comfortable with a great location No lift, no tea & coffee in room, or breakfast.

Location was fantastic -- a few minutes walk from the Tha Pai gate -- perfectly located between the old city and the night market. So many great restaurants just two streets away. All the delights of Chiang Mai -- old and new -- are a quick walk from here. Yet it's totally quiet for sleeping and rest. Very few electrical outlets. Even the desk has no outlet! Bring an extension cord with multiple outlets to conveniently power your electronics! One thing that made me skeptical about booking here, was that the website had no photos of the bathrooms. BATHROOMS ARE IMPORTANT! Very important to know what kind of shower/bath there is, but the website had NO PHOTOS showing the bathroom fixtures and layout. THIS SHOULD BE CORRECTED!

Receptionist lady is friendly. I love her smile and kind help. Other staffs are nice, too. Though it is not big problem to me that no elevator, but it is the only thing to say.
