We had a wonderful stay at Villa Thai Orchid. The hotel was extremely clean and our room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, even surprising us with a delicious birthday cake, just by looking at our passports. The coffee in the morning was also lovely. Would highly recommend and would come again - our favourite place we stayed in Thailand!

I was greeted at the door immediately & she even knew my name. The owner was extremely warm and welcoming and offered us complimentary house shoes for our stay. And without even asking, our bags were taken and brought to our room before we even finished checking in. The facility was immaculate & the room was cozy & very clean.

Updated interior and clean!!!! Great service by all staff, extremely kind and helpful, just absolutely everything! Nothing.

Perfect location in the heart of the old city, yet tucked away on a quiet side street. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, plus a 7-eleven around the corner. The room was clean and comfortable, very quiet at night, and the air conditioner worked very well. The bathroom is not large but perfectly adequate, with good water pressure and a great shower. The staff were very friendly and helped us make reservations and answered all of my questions about sightseeing. Comfortable beds, the free laundry service, along with the snacks and drinks in the lobby, made us feel like we didn’t want to leave! none

What a gem! An immaculate property located in a quiet alley just off the main street in the old city. Everything about Villa Thai Orchid is perfect- the owner & staff are wonderful, the beds are super comfortable and the decor is beautiful. All the little things they do like providing nice slippers, snacks and laundry are very impressive. No wonder they were sold out every other time I tried to book. Wow!

This boutique hotel which is relatively new is maintained at a high standard. Excellent quiet location on a side street . Heathy breakfast at a very reasonable price

Villa Thai Orchid is amazing, the staff are wonderful and will do everything to ensure you have what you need and can enjoy Chiang Mai. Location is great too you are right in the Old Town. I would happily return! Nothing

The property was small but welcoming. Very cute sitting areas with snacks. No elevator but only for floors.

Everything’s was excellent. The attention to detail at this property is something to admire. From the free slippers, bottled water in the room, free laundry every night, and also the healthy munchies available throughout the day is a great touch and it shows exceptional customer service. It shows that their heart is in this business. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet location very close to the Sunday night market. Highly recommend!

The hotel is located in the center of old town, walking distance to attractions, yet one block away from the busy streets. It is super clean, quiet and tranquil. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It was a pleasant surprise to have the free laundry service and snacks etc. I would definitely recommend this hidden treasure to friends and fellow travelers!

The staff was incredibly attentive and kind. They made our entire stay an amazing experience. We will absolutely be coming back to stay with them again!

Great location, VERY clean, easy, and free laundry service. The hotel staff was extremely kind and helpful, especially Deng. We enjoyed having plentiful bottled water available, as well as snacks and fruits we could take for a light breakfast before setting out for the day. The value for the hotel and the service, accommodations, and amenities it offered could not be beat. Communication with the hotel both before and during our stay was also seamless. We liked everything and have no notes, but this would not be a good location if you are looking for a luxurious vacation. It is a home base that allows you to feel very comfortable in between exploring everything Chiang Mai has to offer.

The hospitality and friendliness of the staff was perhaps the best I've experienced in all of my travels. Additionally the cleanliness of the hotel, laundry service and common area where snacks, coffee and tea were always available was brilliant. Also a thanks to the staff for the birthday wishes which were a huge surprise and very much appreciated. without doubt I'd stay here again on my next visit to Chiang Mai. Nothing, wish all of my stays were as exceptional as this.
