This was a return stay for my friend, who recommended Green Sleep. We are so glad we stayed here. The staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful, kind, and accommodating. The hostel is kept very clean and organized. The location is easy walking distance to many things, including the street market. It's also easy to get transport to various locations. The Wi-Fi was excellent. Fruit and tea/coffee in the mornings is a nice touch. Not the fault of the hostel, but there were many mosquitoes while we were there. They provided bug repellent in the lobby, which was helpful. Make sure to have slippers or house shoes, as this is a no shoes facility.

The staff was the best! They made me feel so welcome and always checked in on me before leaving what my plans were and even noticed that they haven’t seen me for a day because I was gone for a day tour and left/came back outside reception hours which made me feel so safe as a female solo traveler. This hostel is very friendly, chill and located very conveniently. Facilities were always super clean and well looked after - even though it’s not a social hostel by offering communal events, it was very easy for me to talk to fellow travelers and loved hanging out there.

Convenient to everything I wanted to see. Could walk to wonderful sights. Could have been a little cooler. A/c set at 26 and couldn’t change.

It’s awesome love this place and the recepcionist is the most lovely and awesome she recomended me tours where to go and also helped me with my laundry so kind shasha if my memory don’t fail is her name always with a smile and if you have chance to talk with her she is funny and tought me Thai The stairs are too much

I had the best time at green sleep, wasn’t too busy, great staff, and perfectly located. I highly recommend this hostel and I will be staying again once I come back. You definitely have to make the effort to be social.

Everything was so comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean. I’m not sure if they washed the blankets

The whole place was clean -- rooms, bathrooms, lobby area. It is located in the middle of the old town. All the temples and cafes in the region are within walking distance. The best part for me was the lobby. Lobby is large, artistically done, with workstations and couches. Spoke to a lot of fellow travellers in that area. A few functional things that worked for me -- decent sized locker, really good wifi, work stations, coffee/tea availability, microwave and toaster availability, laundry (chargeable), kitchen utensils, fridge, fruits & bread in the morning, price. The staff, both at the reception and in the cleaning role, was friendly and sweet. Not able to recall anything significant

The location was great and there was a nice large common area with free water refilling. The hostel was very clean including the bathrooms. The bed was very hard barely social no locks for lockers given the fan in the room was broken and was too loud at night

The atmosphere was really good, i really enjoyed the breakfast with bread, watermelon and jam. If found the experience very relaxing ☺️ The toilet were a little small, but nothing to worry about.

The beds were not super stable and would squeak or shake whenever someone moved.

Super clean and spacious. the rooms are quiet and it has a nice common area. It’s right in the middle of the touristy area which is nice if you want to see a lot of temples, but it was too crowded and not many casual/more local restaurant options nearby.
