No lobby or place to meet. No restaurant at hotel. Just a bar and a donut shop. One of two elevators out of service. Handicap accesible bathrooms have no place to lay out your stuff.

One of the two elevators was not working. We were there for 7 days and no repair was going on. A day into our stay, a quest was checking out and said that he had been there for 4 days and it was not working. It the second one has an issue, how are you going to charge over $300 a night and have no working elevators. Hilton can do better than this!

The staff was nice and welcoming. However the facilities were not well kept. One of the elevators was out of service the entire time of our stay - we had to climb seven flights, because the line for the elevator was so long. The room had peeling paint or unfinished drywall patchwork, the plumbing was concerning - weird noise when you flushed the toilet, and the shower head would randomly drip - it was a moderate drip, not a drop or two. Not what I was hoping for based on the Expedia photos or social media.

Convenient location and friendly staff, with comfortable beds and upgraded bathroom
-
How close it was to everything and the shower water pressure It was dusty, woke up coughing and red eyes. They did not clean the rooms unless upon requested. No duvet cover and mattress cover. Just use the piece of sheet
-
The bad: Microscopic, cramped bathrooms. Only one working elevator during our stay on a high floor which made getting in/out a hassle. Pillows are flat and uncomfortable.
-
Room was small. Pillows were awful. Even on the 8th floor, the music from downstairs was loud. Only 1 elevator was working and you had to wait a long time for it to show up. They only clean the room if you ask them in advance.

The front desk staff was absolutely amazing!! The most accommodating hotel I’ve ever stayed at and soooooo friendly and helpful. I will be back because of the front desk staff!! Please give them a raise they went above and beyond for my family and me. Thank yall so much.

It was more eclectic than I expected.

Good location. Super loud music playing outside at the front of the hotel. Room had no natural light. Window faced dark alley and parking garage. No coffee maker in the room. Male Front desk staff not very friendly. Seemed like any guest question was an inconvenience for them. Female front desk staff was responsive to questions.

This hotel is OK. Pros: It's in a great location - near the L train, easy to get to many parts of the City, next to a CVS, the room was clean, and the bedding was comfortable. Cons: the room was TINY - the smallest hotel room I have ever had in the US! There was no where to put anything, not even a closet. Our room looked out onto a dark air well. There was only one working elevator, which sometimes took 10 minutes to arrive. AND, the one working elevator was tiny, so more than once, after waiting for a long time, we could not even get on the elevator, and had to wait even longer. There is no real ambiance - a bad cafe, no lobby, an exclusive bar with a maitre d. It would be much better if guests could hang out in the bar, like a lobby bar for the HOTEL GUESTS! I would not recommend this hotel and I would not stay again.

Nice place to stay but not many amenities like room service or coffee and tea. No closet space. The rooms are a bit outdated and could use a refresh

Great location and price was decent, looked to be a lively bar downstairs (but didn't disturb me on the 4th floor) It was FINE I suppose. Like a lot of these modern boutique style hotels from bigger hotel chains (like the Moxy) you get a some small attempt at an amount of modern character but sacrifice some basics things you'd expect in a hotel like room service, coffee machine, getting your room made up each day. the traffic noise (hooting) from the street was pretty bad, Chicagoans seemingly unable to drive more than 50 meters without leaning on the horn. I think next time I'd be tempted to not try and be a hipster and just book a mainstream hotel brand.
