They are connected to a restaurant and even give you two coupons for a free soft drink, house wine, or beer. We originally paid for a room at a higher floor, but it wasn't available so we were swapped to a similar room on a lower floor. Staff was caring and hands you and information slip with wifi and ice and amenities.

Had a lovely time. Room was super clean and the fitness room had working machines and was also super clean. Their dining area had delicious items! Will be back

The hidden gem was the 3rd floor refreshments.

Best location

Very clean and well appointed

Additionally, there was a horrible smell throughout the property upon our arrival that persisted for the entire duration of our stay. Unfortunately, these issues significantly impacted our experience. Based on this stay, I would not recommend this particular Hyatt location.

The staff was great, let us check in earlier. The room was supposed to be ready until 3pm but we arrive earlier at 1pm and they give us an available room at no extra charge. The location was centric, room was clean but a little small but we get it, it’s almost like that in all the hotels in Chicago. The only thing I didn’t like it’s the charge they make on amenities, it was like 50 something for using a lounge with office and space to work and some not good snacks (we didn’t even used it) besides that everything else was good.
-
Location was not in the best part of town, and sometimes didn’t feel safe walking outside alone…so I didn’t!
-
Not a super convenient location for most of the activities we ended up doing, but staff was friendly and the room wasn’t terribly small.
-
Room was clean, view was nice. Wished the roof top bar was open longer

I wish I was able to do more research before booking. It was a last minute decision. Needed a get away right away and I love the Navy pier. The beds were small. Not true to the adversitment. The valet parking fee I feel was ridiculous. Thats normal practice depending on the stay. Parking was horrible. Other than that, the staff was wonderful. The communication with housekeeping could have been better. I feel like for what I paid, the rooms could have been bigger. The dedicated team members left a lasting impression beyond expectations. It was explained above. The staff was friendly though.
