This visit opened our eyes to a new way to get away for a few days and we will definitely be doing this again.

Everything was great. Staff, food, views, amenities were all very wonderful. Only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because they didn’t have the room type we booked available. We booked a King Bed Spacious room weeks in advance, but at the time of check-in all they had were standard double-queen bed rooms.

We had an amazing stay at Opal Sands Resort! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and in the perfect location right on Clearwater Beach. Our Gulf view was absolutely breathtaking, and watching the sunsets from the balcony was one of the highlights of our trip. 🌅🌴 The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the resort had everything we needed for a relaxing beach vacation. The pool and beach access were fantastic, and having restaurants and bars right on the property was so convenient. The views, location, service, and overall atmosphere made this an unforgettable stay. We absolutely loved Opal Sands and would definitely stay here again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I would highly recommend this resort! The service was exceptional. The Spa was great. Food and drinks were outstanding. Beds super comfy! All around great experience.

The property was very clean and well kept. Housekeeping was consistent as well as the staff. Staff continuously accommodated guests and were friendly. Definitely coming back in the future.

The only thing is that we saw a mouse outside on the pool deck outside the dining room during the day.

Opal Sands is connected to Opal Sol and you can use amenities at both, but honestly we ended up preferring the pool and restaurants at Opal Sands. There’s a better breeze off the water, and the poolside restaurant was excellent — we had the seaguini and it did not disappoint. On weekends they do a full breakfast buffet, plus you can order things made to your liking — cook-to-order eggs, grits, the works. Rooms were spotless. Housekeeping came through twice a day, and they leave a chocolate on your pillow at night, which was a nice touch. Every floor has free water, snacks, and ice available too, so you’re never far from a refill. Overall a really relaxing stay with great service and even better views. Will definitely be back.

The price of the food was very high and the choices of food are not very good for someone that doesn’t want to eat fish every day

I love the resort! It was beautiful, staff were very nice. If your smokers don’t smoke on the balcony it’s not allowed and you will be charged 500 dollars with no warning! It was our bad though we really don’t know and obviously didn’t read the expectations lol. So incase you are like us now you know.
