Unfortunately, we had a pretty significant issue during our stay. It started raining heavily at night, and our room had multiple leaks. Water was dripping in several areas and the floor ended up very wet. The humidity inside the room was also extremely high, even with the AC running, which made the room uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The moisture was actually so bad that I even had trouble charging my phone. There was also quite a bit of noise from people outside during the night, although I understand that this isn’t necessarily something the hotel can control. My other disappointment was the customer service at the front desk. The staff members I interacted with were not particularly friendly or helpful. Even when I asked to borrow something as simple as a pen, they were unwilling to help. I think a warmer and more welcoming attitude would make a big difference, especially in hospitality. Aside from the issues with the rain, humidity, and front desk service, the rest of our stay was fine. I just wish the room had been better maintained and the overall hospitality had been a little better.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was not what I was expecting the bed was very old and noisy like springs it was so bad I had to change rooms (I was only in the first room for 5 minutes) it was decently clean but old and things needed to be replaced or fixed. Ac did not work very well and I was sweating in the middle of the night had to sleep with no cover on. We could not have 2 cars there and I had to pay to park my car at the hotel across the street!!! Because they said they had limited parking but were charging non guests to park there

Very old and dated. Popcorn ceiling gives me the creeps. Clean and close to the beach.

Location can't be beat! Within walking distance to many restaurants/bars and the beach! You don't need a car to get around this part of Clearwater. The other part of the hotel was sold last year and now you can no longer have access to 2 pools or larger rooms to accommodate families. Also, we lost use of a washer/dryer due to the sale of the hotel. The washer/dryer that was at the Clearwater Beach Hotel was malfunctioning and after repeated attempts to use them and telling the front desk about the issues we encountered, they finally put an out of order sign on the machines. Need to have more than 1 washer/dryer for the entire hotel. Also, would like to see more umbrellas at the pool.

A bargain for the location. Very clean and friendly.

We were able to check in early which was a huge plus! The staff was very accommodating. The 1st night our metal bed frame broke which I thought was odd since we aren’t large people. The middle of the bed sucked in and we couldn’t sleep. Next morning we went to the office and she said maintenance would look at and they did replace it. Went to lay on the bed again and the middle frame part busted again! I’m a Petite person so again thought it was very strange. We were able to lift up the bed and fix it ourselves luckily. We did find a cockroach in the bathroom which is gross! The lightening in the room was very dull, there were only 2 small lights on the wall which didn’t produce much light. There were no outlets by the bed so you had to plug in your phone in the bathroom. The hotel is definitely run down and needs remodeling. On a positive note the location was perfect and the pool was nice. It was right on the bay.

The location was easy to go to restaurants, beaches and attractions. Terrible experience, when we woke up in the morning the room was floated in water, we reported the issue to reception, and they helped us changing the room in the afternoon to the fifth floor. The following night the PTAC unit had a horrible noise did not allow us to sleep, as a result we turned off the PTAC and we slept without AC all night. Last day, we tried to use the elevator, and it was broken having to use the stairs, also and without notification the pool was closed in the morning. The inside of the elevators had open beer cans for two days, it had a horrible smell. People hanged their personal wet clothes on the hallway handrail giving bad appearance to the place.
