Gulfview Hotel on the Beach

The elevator is not working. Make sure your elderly can walk up to 5th floor. Hotel needs to be updated. It smells very bad.

Elevator not working. Front desk man stated repairmen would be there the next day. Did not happen. Would have stayed on a lower floor if it wasn't going to be fixed the next day. The 4 days we were there was never fixed.

My fiancé and I took quick weekend get away here, for the price and location we would easily come back! Very quiet and laid back atmosphere! Extremely close to lots of restaurants and shops. So many things within walking distance. The private beach and pool access was perfect. Such a relaxing peaceful perfect weekend!

Loved the room, property and room were clean. Only downside was their wifi would not stay connected. Otherwise great stay, private beach and hotel pool and hot tub.

Nice location. Pool was rather small. Elevator was down - which was a bummer.

I will definitely be back next year

I would advise people to spend the extra fifty or so bucks and go up the beach a little ways. You get what you pay for and they are two stars for a reason. Their "private" beach is lacking, I wouldn't call it a beach at all. Their front desk staff were extremely unprofessional and rude, we almost left upon check in but didn't want to let an old mean karen ruin our plans. The pictures make it seem it seem better than it is and as a floridian and a nurse who travels often I can say I was not impressed with the facility but honestly the front desk behavior is why I would never go back. Someone should pray for her and her bad attitude. People like that should not be in customer service. I hope no one ever treats her the way she treated me for just existing. Smh. ⭐️ they get one star and that's generous.

Cool place. Laid back , clean , friendly!

Everything was right but the elevator. We were not told the issue with the elevator before the reservation date. If they tell us we switch the hotel in advance. We were a group of six rooms all upstairs with old adults.

The AC had black mold on the vent.

Not alot of beach at this property. Made us wear wristbands but not everyone was wearing them and no monitoring of it. Not sure if the property was that full or people were coming over to use the beach/pool. The elevator didn't work.

The condo was spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful in helping us navigate around the area. The entertainment (magic show) was very good, the bands in the bar area were good and the food was good for pub food. I would definitely return.

My wife and I thought it was a nice place to stay and clean

We really enjoyed our stay & would definitely stay there again. The only down side was the elevator was out of order.

Elevator not working

It’s an old hotel. Was clean but a little run down. We stayed on the 2nd floor and the elevator was not working for the 2 nights we were there. Wasn’t a problem for us taking the stairs but it could be for some people. No vending machines or anywhere to get a bottle of water. Small outdoor pool. Beach area is very small also. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.
