JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa

The stay was great! The unexpected property fees was ridiculous. The hold on my credit card was for 4 weeks.

As for the room, it was perfectly roomy, spotlessly clean, and had a nice balcony for relaxing. We never felt cramped. The bathroom was equally clean and well-appointed. Dining at Latitude 28 was a treat, the food was delicious, and the staff there were just as friendly and welcoming. Plus, the beach service was fantastic, they set up our loungers, towels, umbrellas, and the staff brought us food and drinks right to the sand. The beach was clean and the rooftop pool was lovely and warm. Overall, we’d definitely stay there again!

This is a very nice JW Marriott. We stay in Marriott all the time and this once was newer and pretty. The room had good space. It felt good

I was especially impressed with the lady who helped us with information about local excursions. She was knowledgeable, helpful, and took the time to answer all of our questions. The beach staff and workers were equally amazing—everyone was courteous, attentive, and eager to help. What stood out most was how polite and friendly every employee was. No matter where we went on the property, we were greeted with a smile and treated with excellent customer service. The entire team helped make our vacation relaxing and enjoyable. I highly recommend the JW Marriott Clearwater Beach and look forward to staying there again.

Private beach , pool , room Came for my husbands birthday , requested room to be decorated , staff took a very long time to make room ready saying they were preparing room when I come see it balloons are inflated and falling apart , had a nonworking phone in the rooms I had to keep coming to the front for any request , requested to fix my phone in the room twice never fixed , luggage took a very long time to come up . I have a 2 year old daughter I had to keep asking the front for her things because they had not taken the luggage up . They block my access out of my room second day because for some reason they couldn’t charge my card but I’m whole stay was paid for before my arrival !! Lunch at the deep end terrible service barely no one there , evening dining was better . And to complete my horrible experience my husband’s watch went missing from the beach and a birthday gift card and postcard from room . The hotel compensated $300 per all that happened this is beyond ridiculous !!

The room was listed as having a partial beach view, however, the actual view from the room overlooks the parking lot and a garbage container. There is no visible beach view from the room, which is not what was advertised. We have stayed at your hotel many times in the past and have always enjoyed our experience. However, in this case, the description on Expedia was misleading and did not accurately reflect the room that was assigned to us. I would appreciate it if you could review this matter and let us know if there is any possibility of moving us to a room that matches the description we booked. The view after changing rooms twice Everything the location is nice from the beach area there is absolutely nothing close to walk to for after the restaurant in the hotel close I have medical disability I need to take medication w something other than nasty tap water in a bottle and our dd was stolen twice and grubhub never delivered the TV didnt work and phone nothing but static. The restaurant were horrible full of grease ans the kids screaming all night not a good honeymoon trip it was horrible No vending machines really ridiculous oh and pool closes at 7pm like wtf

The service was exceptional, and we enjoyed every minute of our experience. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we are already looking forward to returning next year.

Overall, we had a great stay. The only downside was the parking situation we arrived in a Mercedes Sprinter van and the hotel had no accommodations for larger vehicles. Traveling with twins makes logistics already challenging, so having nowhere to park our car added unnecessary stress to our trip. We hope the hotel considers solutions for families with larger vehicles in the future

Beautiful property, welcoming staff. The private beach was beautiful. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the near future.
