Pelican Pointe Clearwater Beach Hotel

Room was SPOTLESS, near to the beach and restaurants. Bed was hard like a brick but other than that was a fine place.

When we checked in we were given an occupied room and accidentally walked in on them. The second room that we were given was full of bedbugs and we only noticed as we were cleaning up to check out. I received over 20+ documented bed bug bites all over my body. Management has yet to respond.

Nice cheap and clean place to stay just feet from the beach. There's also a pool on site if the beach isn't your thing.

The place feels like a rundown beach motel more than a hotel. It was just acceptable at first impression but the roaches are big NO for me. Staff was nice, pool was nice, location is great. Also, old mattresses sitting out back by the dumpster? Saw complaints in other reviews about bed bugs but luckily didn’t encounter any. The bed had sand in the sheets, and the floor was covered with sand.

Easy check-in. Friendly, efficient staff. Clean & updated. Great amenities such as kitchenette, also ice & filtered water + laundry + bathroom beside the pool. 2 min walk to beach across the street. Plenty of shops & restaurants (some w/ free entertainment) within 10-15 min walk. 10% Hotel discount @ Salty’s next door (BEST clam chowder I found!). Free usage of pool floating devices + beach chairs. Definitely will be at the top of my list for future visits to Clearwater Beach area!

The room was clean and inviting. They had beach chairs and towels available for use. There were pool toys and beach toys available for use in the common areas. The air conditioning was COLD, but easily adjustable. There was also a fan in the room if you preferred that over the air conditioning. We had a torn door weather strip which was replaced immediately after informing the office. The pool was an enormous plus and we utilized it multiple times a day. The outside maintenance needs to be completed. It looks really bad next to the exteriors of other hotels in the area. But the room was very nice.

Great place for budget friendly families that just want a simple vibe. Super close to the beach and all the restaurants and cute spots are walkable. Extra friendly staff, the pool was great after a long day on the beach. Air conditioning was on point!!!would definitely stay again

Good but room was outdated

But the room was cleaned only the first day 👎the excuse was we are very busy because have many checkout.

Our favorite place to be! This is our 4th time back!

Room was adequate. Didn’t have a trash can, that could have been useful since we were there a week, could have had a bigger fridge and microwave. But did what it needed to. Walkable to beach, and restaurants. Inconvenient work on the building while we were there, replacing locks and fixing repairs on the building.

Great location! Room was very clean. Couple minor flaws to building, but overall great experience and would recommend.

The hotel is in need of renovation and updates. Every room is different.The building and rooms are dingy and the advertisement for ocean view is not honest. The guest are very loud pass the quiet hours which made my ability to work and rest very impossible. The staff was great. But I will never stay here again. That simple

We had a great stay at The Pelican Pointe Hotel. Clean room, friendly and helpful front desk and staff. They have a filtered water and ice machine which was awesome.

It is a wonderful place great value for the money right across from the beach I stay there every time I come to Clear Water and I have never had an issue or problem while staying there. I would highly recommend it
