The hosts were lovely genteel people, extremely friendly and family-like, interested in us and our well-being. Breakfast was good and responsive to our likes. Rooms were comfortable. Beautiful building, book-matched marble flooring, several interesting antiques. We felt at home. A little isolated, but tuk-tuks can be booked through Uber and are very cheap.

The ambience and the heritage vibe is worth your time

Exteriors of the house. Owners acknowledgement of issues during our stay and general interaction with guests. We chose the place for its charming exteriors and photos. Rooms on the top floor of the house do not have basic facilities such as a table, or even a rack to hang clothes. Interiors such as cupboards are unusable, needing urgent repair. Bathrooms are shabby, unclean and leak water across the space. We did not have hot water for showers in the morning and had to port buckets of hot water from the kitchen stove to the bathroom upstairs. The iron board is best not touched due to uncleanliness. The hosts are available to help across some operational issues but these should not arise if the property were to be better restored or managed.

Lovely host , was very flexible and accommodative. Did their best to make our stay pleasant. Very listening and caring. One of the room had an odd smell as if not used for a while. Nothing terrible but something we noticed as soon as we entered the room.

This was hands down the most comfortable and cleanest place I’ve stayed in India. Hosts Stella and Sebastian could not be nicer and more helpful. I arrived late at night and they arranged a driver for me for early the next morning. Stella also made me a delicious vegetarian breakfast. I only have praise for this place and the gracious hosts

Stella and Sebastian were excellent hosts. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. Our family room, accommodating 4 was spacious and perfect for our needs. The mosquito netting needs to be improved. No restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
