The hotel is fine. Rooms are small and basic but everything you need is provided. The location is excellent. We got a stellar recommendation for a dinner restaurant which was important to us. Cognac is lovely.

This was our second time in this Hotel. Like last year, we very much appreciated the calm of the hotel. We arrived just before the reception closed and the staff was kind enough to explain everything they already send me in a message as well as showing us to our room. On this visit, we even had the time to get breakfast and it was just lovely! We’re looking forward to coming back here!

I like liked the friendly staff first and foremost - Valerie ( Head Receptionist ) was excellent and helpful throughout and spoke excellent English alongside the Owner ( Mielon I think ) who was also very helpful and friendly, both with lovely smiles - made all the difference to our stay. Also Oliver who cleaned the rooms - spoke good English and a nice man - along with the other chamber-maid. Our room no 34 - looked down on a lovely garden terrace - with plenty of seating are - so when the sun's out - its a beautiful setting.. The breakfast and breakfast room was also nice - but you could also eat out on the terrace too.. The hotel was perfect for a short stay - in an ideal location only 100 metres from several bars and resturants. There was also an excellent gourment supermarket opposite the Hotel - which came in very handy.. Our room, though in an excellent position - was maybe just a little on the small side - but perfect for a short stay.

The position of the hotel was ideal. I walked from the station. I could walk into town where there were cafes and restaurants, and the river was also a walk away. I had breakfast one morning which had a good selection, and as the weather was good I ate outside. The staff were very accommodating. I was able to leave my bag at the hotel when arriving and after I had booked out. I would say that the shower was quite small and there was a gap when I closed my door however hard I tried to pull it shut.

A very nice hotel with a lovely courtyard not far from the centre of Cognac. Room was clean and comfortable. Shower was very small. It was quiet no noise from outside. The courtyard was lovely. Breakfast was ok There is no car parking at the hotel but we found a car park quite close
