We were given a "crime scene" room. The room has everything you need: a hair dryer, hair tie, soap and gel, towels, a kettle, and other toiletries. A nice touch was the cotton swabs, pads, a sponge, a nail file, and even a needle and thread. The room is clean and cozy, check-in is easy, and it's very convenient to access the room from your phone. The location is also good—a 10-minute walk from Cologne Cathedral.

I liked the theme rooms, very interesting and fun. Comfortable beds, and exactly what you need if you are out and about all day! Just beware if you are a light sleeper the soundproofing is not the best.

In a beautiful street of Cologne we found our hotel. We stayed in the 'Japan-themed' room, and the decoration and attention for detail exceeded our expectations. I travelled with my mom, who is quite critical and values a clean room above all. She was beyond happy and loved every detail. Also the staff was incredibly friendly. The location was perfect for a city-trip, 15 min walking to the Kolumba Museum and to the Dom. During the night it was quite loud, we had the windows closed but the bar across the street had many people outside. However, I think this could be fixed with good earplugs, I only had forgotten mine.

No elevator, no fridge, no safe for keeping valuable items

The style of the hotel is interesting. The price was good and it was an OK distance from the train station so we could walk there easily with luggage. There was no lifts unfortunately, but it is only 15 stairs so it was not that big of a deal with a heavy luggage.

Trendy A little noisy

Extremely friendly personnel! Rooms are fine and small. Good location. It was very hot in our room.

Staff was friendly and quite helpful I think it would be good to know more about the rooms since there are rooms that do not have privacy in the bathrooms, so if you are traveling with family, that's not convenient. Fortunately, the man in the reception helped us change our rooms. Can't remember his name but he's very friendly

A 5-story walk-up with all our luggage was unexpected. We didn’t have hot water in the morning for our showers.

Good location with respect to train station and activities in the city. You can see the detail they put into the room, the decoration is nothing you buy at Ikea. It made the stay more enjoyable. Unfortunately, the street is quite lively. There was live music from Irish pub on Saturday until 22hr. And generally there is many people passing, expect them to be party people. And also people walking inside the building can be clearly heard. There is no lift. There is no AC.

Great location, stuff, room, attention to the details

The design of the rooms. The bed is those type of water bed, when u lie down it does moves abit, like you are on waters. It's fine for me as am super tired. The location is not too near the train station, nothing much around.

Stunning place. Gorgeous rooms with so much attention to detail. Very friendly staff and all top notch. Heads up: glass wall to the entire bathroom. We did not mind that much, but maybe not for everyone.

Staff were very welcoming and clearly took pride in what is a unique and fun hotel. The facilities were great too.
