Comfy bed and room in general. No A/C in the rooms, that would be nice to have.

The hotel and the room were very good, the location was only 20 mins walk to the railway station, we were close enough to many fun things to do and food and beverage options. Due to it being an older building there was no airconditioning and our stay was during the heatwave in June / July 2026. Added to this was the fact that we were in the Attic space which meant that it was effectively the hottest part of the hotel. The room was big enough to also have a mini fridge, which would have allowed us to have cold drinks and water.

Good location, close to the centre and transport links. Friendly staff, nice breakfast) The hotel is situated on the street between 2 sex shops for males. We stayed in room 42. It was very noisy especially on weekends nights, till 3am. After 2 days being in the hotel in the morning I woke up with numerous red spots, small and big. Initially I'd thought there were mosquito's beats, but later I understood that there were bedbugs (I found their bodies and sights on the sheet). I went to the reception and claimed to move into another room. The guy kindly satisfied my requirements. At this moment I noticed a small mouse running around nice historical issues. It was enough to catch bugs in my bags with clothes, getting an allergy and intoxication. I wouldn't recommend staying there.

Location. Price for a short Stay quality. The staff was friendly and nice. Bbreakfast was included in the price and it was quite okay. It was in general OK. The room was considerably warmer than outside. I am not sure about the ventilation so I left the window open all night. It was noisy but not too bad. The neighborhood is not so great but it was quite safe.

Good location. We had a very bad experience. 1. The room allotted to us was on the fifth floor (penthouse with open terrace and not safe) without access by lift. So had to carry the luggages physically by stairs from the third floor. 2. The door of the washroom was removed and kept aside for repair.(privacy issue) 3. We asked for an alternative room on the other floor with lift access. 4. They informed us there is only a single quadruple room in the hotel and do not have anymore vacant rooms. After we pleaded informing them that we will not ask for a refund of the difference in the price of a quadruple room with a double bedroom, they gave us a double room as we had no time searching for an alternative hotel. Even its bathroom door was not able to lock. 5. Our booking included breakfast. As we had to leave early and the breakfast starts only at 7.00 am, we requested to pack some bread for us. The reception staff confirmed that will convey/inform the next shift(morning )staff member. But we came to check out, they informed me that it was not possible.

The only positive aspects of this hotel are its location and the breakfast, which offers a decent selection of European-style options. The hotel is well situated for exploring Cologne’s main attractions. Unfortunately, everything else was very disappointing and fell far below our expectations. Unfortunately, everything else was very disappointing. The carpet in the room was extremely dirty, the furniture was old and worn out, and the curtains were dusty. The windows were also dirty. The room felt stuffy, but opening the windows was not an option because of the constant noise from the street. Throughout the night, people were shouting outside, and the old windows provided virtually no sound insulation. There seemed to be no enforcement of quiet hours. The hotel also has no air conditioning, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. The bathroom fixtures were outdated and partly broken. In one of the rooms, the toilet was installed so close to the wall that it was very difficult to sit on it comfortably. I would definitely not recommend this hotel for families with children. It is a real shame because the location is excellent, but the property appears to have been neglected for a long time and does not seem to receive the investment and maintenance it needs.

The room had bed bugs, which made our night absolutely miserable and very stressful. The location is also inconvenient and far from most attractions. To make matters worse, there was a very rude staff member on duty on May 30, 2026, around 6:00 PM, whose behavior was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Please avoid this place and look for other accommodation options. The room had bed bugs, which made our night absolutely miserable and very stressful. Just next to the hotel were bad shops, I didn't like it.
