Excellent location, great staff, huge triple room overlooking the cathedral. We'd stay here if in Cologne again Only issue was very squeaky sofa bed for our son, had to put the mattress on the floor . Only a one night stay so only told the staff on leaving

The location is excellent. You might not get the view of the cathedral from your window but it's still a stone's throw away from the hotel. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The bathroom is very well designed and equipped. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the Wifi works very well. There was no air conditioning in the room, which was not a problem on that day, due to cool weather but might be during hotter weather. The pillow was small and far too soft to offer support for the head.

For the price, you can't knock it but the room was basic. The bathroom and location were great. No air conditioning in the reception, around the lifts, in the room - just a fan and at the height of August, it was almost unbearable. We have stayed in many hotels linked to breweries before and we couldn't believe that there wasn't a little discount (10% off) to use in the on-site Fruh merchandise shop or even a voucher for one of the €2.50 beers they are serving in the downstairs shop and outside the front door. It was really just a Fruh hotel in name only.

Superb location. Wonderful staff. Good breakfast. The ice slushy at reception was most welcome after a very hot day cycling. Unfortunately there is construction work occurring next door, but that is no fault of the hotel.

Excellent location, just a few minutes from the magnificent Cologne Cathedral. All major sights are within a leisurely 10-15 minute walk. There are plenty of restaurants nearby to suit all tastes (the hotel itself has an excellent German restaurant). The staff is incredibly friendly. The rooms are all new and in excellent condition. There's construction going on nearby, and on weekdays, work starts before 8 a.m. There's a heated towel rail in the shower, but it doesn't work.

Great location, could see Cathedral from window, train station not far away, as the was the bridge, river, squares etc️ Maybe the construction noise going on nearby.

Great location, right next to the Dom Cathedral. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. No A/C but thankfully a fan was provided to help cope with the heat when we were there.

Fantastic location near the main station. Friendly helpful staff. Great sized room and good breakfast. The WiFi is a little hit and miss but overcame this with mobile phone as WiFi repeater.
