Comfortable and good location, nice room.

We arrived at this "hotel," which is located in a very unusual area of Copenhagen, surrounded by run-down buildings and small shops. Upon arrival, we received only a message from the host instructing us to retrieve the keys and find our room in a basement beneath a nearby apartment building, using a hand-drawn sketch. Finding the place was a challenge in itself. The apartment was in poor condition. The door could not be closed because, first, the lock did not work, and, secondly, because the inside handle was falling off (see photo), meaning there was a real risk of being locked out. Calling this place a "hotel" is highly misleading—it looks nothing like the photos advertised online. The accommodation was extremely dirty and the bedroom had no ventilation. The room was located in a basement, with a small window at ground level where people constantly walked past. You could clearly hear every conversation and every footstep outside. At the same time, the window had to remain open because otherwise there was no airflow, making the room feel like a prison cell. The beds were as hard as rock. The pillows were tiny and offered no support, and the blankets were thin and too small even for an average-sized adult. Despite staying during the summer, we were cold throughout the night. The mattresses also showed signs that raised concerns about hygiene and maintenance. While we did not encounter any bed bugs during our stay, the overall condition of the bedding was far from reassuring. To make matters worse, there was no Wi-Fi in the Economy Room, despite Wi-Fi being listed as an included amenity on Booking.com. We contacted the staff multiple times regarding this issue, but our messages were ignored throughout our stay. I have traveled extensively and stayed in accommodations of all categories around the world. This was, without question, the worst accommodation experience of my life.

Nothing. We stayed at the family room. Horrible! The carpet is dirty. The staircase doesn’t have vertical planks making it impossible to use for little kids. Both bass was super uncomfortable. I could feel mattress’s springs on my back. There are ants in downstairs kitchen and trash. I didn’t not like that booking.com doesn’t have real reviews. Before the arrival I typed the address in the google map and discovered the real reviews that prepared me to where I was going.

Maintenance wasn't fantastic. Cooking facilities were very limited for a self catering venue. We had problems on check-in as we had not received the necessary information before arrival.

The location was good. The wood slats underneath the bed fell through on both sides, at seperate times in the middle of the night while we were sleeping which affected our sleep because of the noise. We lifted the mattress up to fix the bed and there was garbage and old food underneath the bed. Someone also had tried to come into our room around 12 am. The towels were also very rough and left minor scratches on our skin.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The bed in the room was in terrible condition — it was broken, very unstable, and made loud noises. It was almost impossible to sleep comfortably. This seriously affected our experience. I hope the host fixes this issue for future guests.

The remote control for the TV was missing

The location was great and the room itself did match the description and photos. We liked the balcony for privacy for our kid. The toilet did not come with directions for how to flush it. We figured it out, but then after 24 hours, then the toilet flushed for 48 hours straight. We contacted M18 and they sent the site person to our unit, but he could not help us. It was very disruptive and noisy. The owners of M18 did not respond to us directly regarding this situation, which was really disappointing. Also the carpet in the unit was very stained.

Perfect location for us. Nothing.
-
Lack of communication with the manager, the carpet was extremely dirty/stained, and the place needs upgrading.
-
location Self chech in. No email from property to get in the hostel, no room # before arrive in the property.

It’s clean. Close to the bus station and city center. Lots of restaurants around. There’s common kitchen and dining area with microwave oven and utensils at the ground floor. Floor and stairs were creaking. There’s the problem with the check-in instruction. Even after the check-in time, there was no instruction and the property does not answer emails. It took me 3 calls before somebody answered the call and gave us the check-in instruction. I’ve heard from other guest that they experienced the same. However, they were nice and apologetic when they answered the call. The unit at the second floor was hot. No aircon during summer. I had to open all the windows, but the loft bedroom was still hot.

We could not cook in the kitchen as it didn’t have oven.

Room was clean and it was ready early. Large windows to let in fresh air. I didn’t catch her name but the woman cleaning the rooms and laundry was very nice.
-
Shower was clogged and caused bathroom to flood after 30seconds of water flow. The carpet was damp and the room smelled musty.

The bed was comfortable. The room had everything I needed. Walls were a little thin, and there were some stains here and there around the room but overall a really nice solo stay.
