Style and location The company they suggested for the tour in Humantay Lake was not well prepared for it

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

Location is perfect you can walk to everything from the hotel. Breakfast is wonderful, the hotel is quiet, the lobby is kept clean and the staff are helpful The bathrooms are in need a a little TLC - our first stay of 2 night the bathroom was cleaned well, our second stay a few days later the tub was not great.

Stunning heritage property in the heart of Cusco. Loved the ambiance and the history of the building. The free offers such as the tour of the property ending with an Inca ceremony was very enchanting. Pisco sour lesson with Miguel - par excellence! Great choice in the breakfast buffet. The option of having it in the courtyard added to the ambiance. Staff accommodating and helpful. Some rooms unfortunately are facing the city street, which is busy all night !! Plus the air conditioning would not work! The bed also not comfortable, you could see that the mattress is dated. The room was stuffy and noisy due to the street traffic! We could not sleep . Next day they accommodated us in the inner side , with a view of the hotels air conditioning units!! We would rather a good night sleep !! The hotel is a big chain Marriott, prices are not cheap! So definitely not the value for what we paid . They did not offer a discount or an upgrade for the discomfort .. I still gave it. 8 star due to the other amenities and hotel services and .. based on our experience of first night a 5 rating was deserving

I was happy I stayed here instead of the Belmond.

    Great hotel

WE loved the gym and the breakfast. Great location. All good

  • Engine customer May 2026

We had a beautiful and spacious suite. The bar, restaurant, staff, and concierges were all fabulous, and the breakfast buffet was over-the-top good. We loved the tea station where we could always get coca and mint teas- great for adjusting to the altitude. Every single staff person was friendly and helpful every single time they passed by. Two complaints: the thick down duvet/ comforter was too warm, so I would wake up sweating in the middle of the night. This happened every night. Can’t they be lighter with the option to add another blanket? And, our room was on the street side so we could hear traffic pretty easily, even with windows shut tight and curtains drawn. It wakened me from sleep several times. A lighter comforter and double pane windows on that side would fix everything.

Location, staff, rooms A bit pricy

  • Engine customer May 2026

The hotel is a museum in itself. I strongly recommend the tour offered by the establishment which helps us understand its history and the artworks that can be seen everywhere. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If the varied buffet offered at breakfast doesn’t satisfy your needs, you can always choose à la carte. The hotel is only a few blocks from Plaza de Armes and walking distance from many attractions. Overall an amazing experience!

    Room was super hot

  • Engine customer Apr 2026

Buffet breakfast could provide a little more variety of food options.

Beautiful historic hotel. The staff and the spa were amazing! The facilities are great and our room was so comfortable.

Beautiful property. Friendly, helpful staff. Location is perfect. There are many options for breakfast and most are very tasty. The eggs Benedict was not a good option. This is a wonderful property and there really isn't a fault. The room we were in only had a very small window so seemed quite closed in. Not really an issue.

I didn't like that we went as a family of four. And they charged us extra for having a 14 year old, even though she is a child...and didn't use any extra resources. When I made the reservation I was clear on the number of people in the room, yet we still were charged extra in the end. The hotel is a luxury stay and these discrepancies ruined the feeling in the end. So if you are traveling with your family be aware of these HUGE extra costs, had I known I would have booked a different room or hotel.

The first thing you're struck by is the property itself, the beautiful, historic building, magnificently restored and decorated. Next, the location - opposite the Coricancha and in the heart of the historic district, a short, pleasant stroll from the Plaza de Armas, but far enough away from the noise, hustle & bustle. Last but not least, the staff - SO friendly, warm, courteous and attentive - they make a great place even better. We especially appreciated Lidia and Emerson in the concierge office, who helped us in so many ways. Wonderful buffet breakfast, too! Nothing bad to say. It ain't cheap, but you get what you pay for.

It's a Hotel built on a historical site with UNESCO Rooms. Decoration and facilities are good but some part a little inconvenient for example the charging port. The staff shows hospitality. We especially like the Hotel tour. Nothing

    Nothing

The property is gorgeous!!! Well maintained unique features and architecture of the hotel. It’s a spacious hotel but easy to navigate and find amenities and the restaurants. Great location, lots of food options and activities to do in the area. Nothing I enjoyed everything about this property!
