WE loved the gym and the breakfast. Great location. All good

We had a beautiful and spacious suite. The bar, restaurant, staff, and concierges were all fabulous, and the breakfast buffet was over-the-top good. We loved the tea station where we could always get coca and mint teas- great for adjusting to the altitude. Every single staff person was friendly and helpful every single time they passed by. Two complaints: the thick down duvet/ comforter was too warm, so I would wake up sweating in the middle of the night. This happened every night. Can’t they be lighter with the option to add another blanket? And, our room was on the street side so we could hear traffic pretty easily, even with windows shut tight and curtains drawn. It wakened me from sleep several times. A lighter comforter and double pane windows on that side would fix everything.

Location, staff, rooms A bit pricy
-
The hotel is a museum in itself. I strongly recommend the tour offered by the establishment which helps us understand its history and the artworks that can be seen everywhere. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If the varied buffet offered at breakfast doesn’t satisfy your needs, you can always choose à la carte. The hotel is only a few blocks from Plaza de Armes and walking distance from many attractions. Overall an amazing experience!

Room was super hot

Buffet breakfast could provide a little more variety of food options.

Beautiful historic hotel. The staff and the spa were amazing! The facilities are great and our room was so comfortable.

I didn't like that we went as a family of four. And they charged us extra for having a 14 year old, even though she is a child...and didn't use any extra resources. When I made the reservation I was clear on the number of people in the room, yet we still were charged extra in the end. The hotel is a luxury stay and these discrepancies ruined the feeling in the end. So if you are traveling with your family be aware of these HUGE extra costs, had I known I would have booked a different room or hotel.

Beautiful property. Friendly, helpful staff. Location is perfect. There are many options for breakfast and most are very tasty. The eggs Benedict was not a good option. This is a wonderful property and there really isn't a fault. The room we were in only had a very small window so seemed quite closed in. Not really an issue.

The first thing you're struck by is the property itself, the beautiful, historic building, magnificently restored and decorated. Next, the location - opposite the Coricancha and in the heart of the historic district, a short, pleasant stroll from the Plaza de Armas, but far enough away from the noise, hustle & bustle. Last but not least, the staff - SO friendly, warm, courteous and attentive - they make a great place even better. We especially appreciated Lidia and Emerson in the concierge office, who helped us in so many ways. Wonderful buffet breakfast, too! Nothing bad to say. It ain't cheap, but you get what you pay for.

It's a Hotel built on a historical site with UNESCO Rooms. Decoration and facilities are good but some part a little inconvenient for example the charging port. The staff shows hospitality. We especially like the Hotel tour. Nothing

The property is gorgeous!!! Well maintained unique features and architecture of the hotel. It’s a spacious hotel but easy to navigate and find amenities and the restaurants. Great location, lots of food options and activities to do in the area. Nothing I enjoyed everything about this property!

Everything about this hotel is AMAZING. It is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at., The spa is great, the breakfast delish and it's like staying in a museum. Loved every minute. Nothing.

The property is outstanding. Staff, service, location, comfort, breakfast, etc. It is an expensive choice.

Beautiful. I was “upgraded” to a room which i agreed to as long as it was quiet. When i got there, a wedding was taking place below the room and there was loud thumping noise. i considered that the front desk lied to me. i demanded a better quiet room. The front desk supervisor kept interrupting me when whilst i tried to articulate my complaint. He refused to provide me with the sort of room they had promised and i was put into a very small uncomfortable room with no dresser so that i had line my clothes up along the floor. No one checked to see if i was happy with the room. After three unhappy days, i demanded a room change. The second room was good and i was happy for the rest of my stay. Although the rest of the staff were great, i would not recommend the hotel because i believe the front desk is trained to lie and manipulate guests at the time of check in.

The only downside was the noise in the mornings—we could hear people talking and doors closing loudly, aerly morning. We also arranged a shuttle, but no one came to pick us up. However, the team genuinely apologized for both issues.

- Woke me up both morning knocking on my door. The second morning was my check out day but check out was at noon and it was 9 am. - Room is too far away from lobby, and very hard to find your way back.
-
I love the location and historic field of the property. I paid attention to little details everywhere from the lobby to the restaurant.

The setting and the hotel are literally amazing. Nothing
