The view was amazing and worth everything for me. The staff was really nice and helpful. You also get a free ride from the airport if you book more than 3 nights. The hit works only at night and it’s not working that well so it can get quite cold sometimes.

The room was next to the reception, on the ground floor, which resulted in the room being noisy. You could hear all the noise from the upstairs room, from footsteps to bags being moved around. There a window to the bathroom next to my bed and so whenever the light was switched on, my bed would be lit up.

The staff is kind of nice, it's a good place to meet other travelers and the upper floor is great. I was staying in 6 bed dorms. They agreed to cancel the second night for half price so that was nice of them. The vibe is cozy. There were water breaks which affect the whole city, ok, but guests needed to use the toilet, so please provide a bucket with water to flush it. Especially in common areas! The toilets were clean but the shower wasn't and it smelled like sewer- it is an old hostel though. Hot shower not all the time, especially not at 8am.. Breakfast was regular to Peru, basic but that's fine! I expected that! The bathroom was flooded at night for some reason. Not enough toilets.. if it is occupied in the dorms and the common area. WiFi was really bad. I guess i have different expectations because I'm not in my mid 20s anymore. If I had private room I would have stayed because the vibe is really cute and cozy.

We loved our stay here. Very chill atmosphere and lovely terrace to view Cusco. They kindly let us leave our stuff here whilst we did trekking too. Bathroom sometime smelt a bit.

View are amazing, staff is very attentive, common areas good, a bit separated from the city noise. Room and bed is nice, but bathroom isn’t very confortable to use. You better be fit to reach the hostel. (for us it was a positive thing it was a bit far from the center, but I’m Kilian Jornet)

The views from the upper rooms is amazing. The bed was very confortable. The staff was lovely. The neighborhood was nice. It’s a 10 min steep uphill walk from the center, you better be fit. The heating works fine, but they control the time it turns on.

Stayed in a private room for 3 nights and one night in the dorms. Private room was great. - Hot shower - Amazing location - Staff were really helpful - Clean - Great value for money - No problems leaving early (like 3/4am) for tours such as rainbow mountain In the dorms there was no lockers or place to put your bags so it was a maze of people’s bags all over the floor

Excellent location. Breakfast was good. I have no complaints.

I stayed 10 days in SWYH and enjoyed my stay. I had booked a private room and I was surprised how good it was (Room Nr.9 on the upper floor), From here I had a great panoramic view of Cusco even while lying on my bed :-). But of course the view from the hostel is over all excellent. The staff is very attentive and customer driven - from the reception Desk to the kitchen. Thanks to all. Breakfast is ok. I didn´t use the kitchen utilities. I didn't use the kitchen utensils, but I noticed that people prepared some really nice dishes. The private rooms on the 2nd floor are also preferable because of the view and they are more quiet. ***void****

Very friendly staff willing to help Very hard to get there climbing all te way when you come from plaza de Armas

Not many things to dislike, in some nights no hot water and it is a good ways up to the San Blas neighborhood by ready to walk a bit.

Everything about Samay Wasi hostel is great: Starting from the staff, who is always available to help and is very well organised. Hostel has this nice family vibe. The view from the dorm and the terrace were incredible. San Blas is a cute neighborhood and you will get to the main plaza in 10 min walk. The products served at breakfast are yummy: fresh orange juice, good bread, good coffee... Never had any issue with hot shower (good pressure, and always had very hot water), unlike in lots of other places in Cusco. Not much to say. Be ready to walk up a few steps to get to the hostel, but nothing too hard. You'll enjoy the awesome view from the city!

Great place to stay in the San Blas, staff were really nice and very helpful would recommend!

Location, staff, people staying there, the balcony with the view, There’s a specific hour when the heater starts working so until then it can be quite cold in the room.

The view is amazing Very dirty. They only provide one towel. So there are no hand towels or shower mat. Whenever you finish showering the bathroom is flooded. They don’t even provide hand soap in the private rooms. The room was also not very clean
