The room was clean and spacious—minimalist design and very aesthetic. Breakfast was yummy, and it was fun waking up to the alpaca in the courtyard!
-
The staff was friendly, good breakfast, clean close to downtown
-
We missed a bit some cabinets for clothes
-
Lack of heat (they did not turn it on until after 8pm).
-
Breakfast was limited selection

We definitely had some miscommunication with a few of the desk workers due to our language barrier. We know a decent amount of Spanish, but we still struggled.

We love everything in Usgar hotel, ubicación, cleanliness, staff, the huge room( 4 beds), the environment, the tours. All was great, nothing bad to say.
-
Nice building No housekeeping and no action taken after reporting ants in the room

We have been budget traveling and this place was a breath of fresh air. HUGE room, double beds in the twin room and there was even a spare bedroom upstairs. Best bathroom we have had in a while too. Staff were awesome. The guy from the front desk even came and removed a spider from our room that we were scared to touch.

If you are sensitive to noise, you might want to consider bringing some earplugs for your stay. Sounds from neighboring rooms can be easily heard. Even small noises like luggage being moved can travel through. This might be a consideration if you are a light sleeper. Otherwise, it's a generally pleasant place to be.

Room was spacious. The staff were helpful. Good location. Room was cold and smelled of strong cleaning products. The extra down blankets were stained and there were no rugs on the floor to step on and keep one's feet warm.

Noise from the street

Staff very friendly and helpful N/A

The hospitality of the staffs. The clealiness and warmth of the room. We have to leave like 4am for our tour. They packed breakfast for all of us. That was so impressive. Nothing

The rooms are very cold and the heater never worked. We had 6 rooms and none of them worked. They kept saying that they were going to fix it, and never did. The breakfast has very little options. Only one lady working by herself. Usually hotels give you breakfast or snack before you leave on your tours at 4-5am. This one didn’t event offer it. I will not recommend anyone to stay here unfortunately. There are many other better options in Cusco at similar prices

If you like to dive in with the local culture and away from the touristy areas this is it! Lovely courtyard. Our family of 7 with 2 kids stayed at the suite in the back with 5 beds, high ceiling and windows and a balcony! Breakfast was great with eggs and fresh fruits! They had an outdoor heat lamp in the room for heat at night…we kept it on while we sleep with the balcony door cracked open….it was fine.

It’s a nice older building with a walk around courtyard. It’s close to Sam Pedro market. It’s a good 10-15 min walk to the main tourist area which is nice to digest after eating.
