The ferry terminal to Zanzibar and the train station are a 5-minute walk away.

Harbor View is in a prime location for doing business in Dar. Hotel Guest Relations Manager Raju Virani was hugely helping me to extend twice at the last minute. I receive an upgrade from Booking which provided a very nice room.

Harbourview Suites exceeded every expectation, and a huge part of that was Makamba Hussein at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, he went above and beyond. He securely stored my luggage while I traveled to Zanzibar, rebooked me into a stunning room with a beautiful view on my return, and then arranged another seamless rebooking after my trip to Mbeya. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Whether it was hotel matters or local guidance, Makamba handled everything with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. As a solo traveler returning to Tanzania after many years, his attentiveness made a real difference. He turned the hotel into a home base I could rely on between trips. The rooms are comfortable, the location is excellent, and the staff (especially Makamba) are the heart of this place. I cannot recommend Harbourview Suites highly enough.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Nice restaurant with a balcony on the 9th floor and good breakfast. Great wifi connection for working.

The property is in a great location. It has beautiful view and proximity to heart of the city. It can be little confusing due to other businesses being in the same building.

The location is very central and walking distance to the ferry terminal. It's a big business hotel, the breakfast was good, wifi works and the shower had pressure.

We were pleasantly upgraded to a king executive room. Staff arranged transfer to airport. This location is an easy walk from the ferry terminal and that is why we choose it. The soup at supper was so delicious we came back the next night and ordered the same as a starter. We were happy with the value at the restaurant. I use maps.me and that app had the location at the wrong place. Since properties are not addressed in Dar es Salaam, locating the entrance elevator can be difficult. The hotel is located in the same building as the casino. That would make it very easy to find.
