Very friendly staff and central location. Electricity and AC good working. Attentive breakfast service and good buffet. Security always available. If you are fine with the facility disadvantages, the value for price is fair. Hotel was probably luxurious in the past, but lost glam in the last decades. Door from room and balcony was not closing properly anymore, no safe available, fridge not working, bathroom ceiling broken.

Good location, welcoming staff and great history of a place. Family owned, good people. Everything I complained about got fixed and bit more. Rooms are not at their glory anymore. Junior sweets are the best value point.

We were very looked after by all at the peacock. We had a fantastic guest liaison Laurencia who made sure all our needs were looked after. The bar staff were super attentive and the rooms were impeccably clean Their gym is terrible. Pretty non existent. Needs a new treadmill and a complete overhaul just to be able to use it. All machines are broken and the weights are poor

The Hotel is in the city center and near to city mall and aura mall. Breakfast include most of local dishes with limited choice. Internet disconecctivity.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff, from the front manager to the receptionists, were amazing – friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. Their excellent service truly enhanced my overall experience. The hotel's commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in the professionalism and warmth of its team. I look forward to staying here again in the future!" I believe they can improve their breakfast buffet by offering wide variety.

4th time staying at The Peacock. It is so convenient for Muhimbili Hospital - we come for volunteer work, usually once per year, to Paediatric Oncology/Paediatric Block and we also like the proximity to downtown local restaurants and shops. only that there seem to be two hotels with quite different room facilities and the group usually have some lucky landing in the suites and others on the other side which can be a little noisier with the bar music and slightly lesser quality facilities in the bathrooms for example.

Central, clean. Staff exceptionally friendly and approachable. Junior Suite was superb with stocked amenities regularly. The bottled water everyday was appreciated. Bed was very comfortable and plenty of storage for everything. “Gym” was terrible, not one machine worked properly. Staff need to become more familiar with card payments using the machine. Music needs to be turned down or off at acceptable times as colleagues had rooms close to them and were unable to sleep

The executive rooms are good Standard rooms have the worst view, an opposite building is very close to the hotel window, hence the view is restricted. You may want to confirm the view before booking. I had to upgrade to an executive room just because of a bad view.

Hotel was great, nice room, cool AC, swimming pool, bar, restaurant Had a "do not disturb" sign on the door, they took it off and entered room with out permission. Be aware if this could be a concern for you. Some things did not work and took the management the whole day to address very simple tasks: tv and fridge in particular. Had to ask to set up TV by calling front desk more than 3 times. Overall, everything was addressed the first day. No shower curtain amd water could be tricky to set up once only hot water flows
