Our stay was wonderful!! The room was clean, comfortable, cozy and overall great! We had an exceptional experience with the bar staff from start to finish! Brenden was our bartender for the evening and he made our experience that much better! The food was also great! Best mozzarella sticks we have ever had! Overall this was one of our best hotel experiences over the past 10 years coming to Deadwood. If I had to say something negative I would say that most hotels offer some form of free parking and they do not, but the parking in the city if Deadwood is sparse to begin with so it wasn’t much of a surprise.

Very convenient location. Helpful friendly staff. Hotel is in an older historic building but rooms are well appointed. There is no parking right at the hotel but parking was available about two blocks away.

There's zero parking and no loading, unloading zone (at least during rally times). When we got into town and saw this, we called the hotel and the clerk said she would go outside and move the barriers so we could unload.Turns out she moved them back about a foot, and we still were hanging out in the middle of the road. The police officers on the area immediately started yelling at us to move our car. We explained our situation to them and they at least had enough sympathy to let us run our luggage into the lobby. We found a 20 minute parking spot on the side of another hotel and we had to run back, check in, and take our bags to our room. While checking in we asked the desk clerk where we were supposed to park our car & trailer and then our bike after we unloaded. She pointed us to a public lot for our car & trailer then told us we could park the bike across the street from the hotel. That is exactly what we did. Woke up the next morning to find out that our bike had been towed. The overnight clerk watched the them tow our bike and looked to see if it belonged to anyone staying at the hotel. The clerk who checked us in did not ask for tag information (although she was supposed to) so it did not show up in their system. He said he watched as the tow company banged our bike around while loading. Shout out to Sunshine Towing who damaged it.

We had a 2 room suite. Very nice! The hotel location is excellent. The restaurant was great, however they do not serve breakfast. There is no free parking for the hotel. We ended up parking in the public parking lot a street behind the hotel.

Wonderful property for solo travelers. Front desk was helpful, parking is a pain but really not a huge deal. Room was adorable, and clean. Historic hotel, yet peaceful and quiet! Bed was awesome for a good night sleep.

We stayed during the Deadwood Days of '76. The hotel was expensive. The room was beautiful, but room was not very clean or maintained. The shower provided shampoo, body wash and conditioner, but the shampoo and conditioner were empty. The window sill in the bathroom was dirty with fuzz and dust. Under the bathroom vanity was a used Q-tip, garbage, chunks of dirt and a lid off of something. Our fitted bed sheet was dirty with a brown type stain on it and the flat sheet had black smears on it. I took pictures and went to the front desk. They said they would take care of it but no discount was offered. The hotel is a great location but for what we paid on a busy weekend, I expected better and clean.

Bed wasn't made. Room wasn't cleaned from the previous occupants.

The room was nice, their was a air conditioner outside of our room and it made a loud noise all night, when I complained about the noise, I was told that it has done that for some time.

    Great hotel, close to everything!

We were in town for Days of 76. The hotel has a great location and we loved that there is a bar and patio on site. The beds were comfortable. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room. It was perfect for what we needed.

Clean room and will book again. Thanks

Rooms were quaint and quite large. Quiet for the most part. The casino is only slots. Zero table games, which was a let down.
