Exceptional

The hotel receptionist was outstanding. He took the time to check in on us throughout our trip.
-
Airport shuttle is convenient. Hotel near several restaurants and close to Dart transit

First off we rented a Skyline 1 bedroom suite which was expensive already but figured timing and location were the reasons. Being over the high cost not only was our room not ready until a couple hours after check in time which is (3pm), we had to pay for breakfast (buffet not much more than a continental, $23/ person which 99% of the other suites I have rented monthly in the past few years this is included with the room! The room was looking into aner building and they provided 2 waters but would charge you $3/bottle if you drank them! Nickle and dime you on EVERYTHING, and for $600 plus a night for 2 nights for 2 people still you have to pay for everything else, for a mediocre room and supposed heated indoor pool (which was not)and a room with skyline views (which also was not) I will stay elsewhere! Friends also rented a room the same time and had the same experience! Needless to say there's 4 people that would say pass on this place. Wife and I travel 1-2 times a month so...

Staff was great and rooms were clean.
-
Cleanest hotel room we have had in years. We had 3 couples in 3 different rooms and everyone agreed this is the only place to stay in downtown Des Moines

Great service all around.

Beds and pillows were super comfortable and staff was really sweet. Pool was super cold.

We came for an event at the Caseys center. You cant beat the location and parking and the ease of walking to the event. With all that said there were a few minor charges that should be included instead of being added. You're already paying over 300 a night so it seems they are just piling on. I guess convenience costs

This hotel was so nice
-
Perfect stay for our family going to WWE at the Casey’s center. There was a sky walk, so we didn’t have to take our young children outside to walk back at 10pm. The staff were super helpful. The hotel was clean & nice rooms. The bed was comfortable and the shower was huge. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

There are enough restaurants within walking distance and most of it can be walked using their covered skywalks. The parking in front of the hotel for checking in and out is very limited and can be quite busy at times. The staff were very nice and helpful and the hotel restaurant was good and had average prices for a hotel this size.

Our stay was extremely unpleasant. Our room was wonderful however unbeknownst to us there was a political dinner of some sorts. It attracted protesters, it didn't make us feel comfortable. Then your over reactive security staff on their treatment of us that wasn't with the dinner was absolutely criminal. Showing our keycard didn't temper their treatment. This was all mentioned at checkout and we were basically brushed off. They got paid, next
